Sorry to be AWOL - again. I wanted to thank everyone one more time for all the prayers and wishes you have sent my way. You guys are the greatest

I need to get myself back to business as usual and that includes back to my useless polls!!

I'll start with an easy question - one you hear everytime you go into a supermarket...

"Paper or Plastic"?

plastic!! Paper takes to long to carry...especially up all my stairs!!

plastic, at the grocery store, they are blue- we use them for the recycling.

Though when we go to the Health Food store we get paper, and use those to recycle the newspapers

I use plastic because that's all they offer at the two groceries where I shop. But I prefer paper and feel I ought to take the canvas bags I have at home. So I'm a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddd girl ...............but lazy about this. I do try to recycle the bags but use a lot of them for doggie poop. ( i know, i know, tmi!)

I opt for plastic unless it's the beginning of the school year - then we get paper bags and use them to cover the kids' textbooks!!

Plastic at Stop & Shop- reused around the house or recycled
Paper at Trader Joes - again reused
My own bags at BJ's Wholesale

We use both. The plastic bags at the commissary are crappy. We use the plastic bags for the bathroom trash cans.

Here I live in a heavily-forested province, yet I do not get the chance to choose paper. We're only given plastic bags here. Good for the trees.

plastic was the bag of choice.....cause I could pick up her potty in the yard and tie it in a knot and put it out in the trash......Now I use it for diapers from the baby I watch.....one good smelly one and I tie that in a double knot and give it to the father to bring home......just like the state parks........carry in and carry out......ROFL

Plastic here, although I wish I could occasionally remember to bring a canvas bag. If it's something small, no bag. Why do they want to give you a bag for a candy bar, anyway?
