Good morning everyone!

I've lost track of the days but I'm pretty sure it's friday so I hope you all have a fun weekend planned! For me, Friday-Sun are 12 hour/no break work days. I'm actually wishing for Tuesday to get here so I can have my break. :)

So anyway, on to today's question. It's about food and beware, the poll will more than likely give you a craving of some sort ;)

Your question is "What is your favorite ethnic cuisine?"

OH this just isn't fair

Now I'm Hungry and it is only 5:30 in the AM

I have to think about this one before i vote

I love alot of different kinds of food

That one was easy for me. But I really am not prejudice, I will eat any ethnic food. But I voted Italian because that is the easiest one for me to cook.

ok, this was difficult. I really wanted to vote chinese, but the Margarita/tequila factor swayed me over to Mexican! ;)

I am so lame, I don't like anything, but plain old boring American Food! :teeth:

I voted American, wehen we go out we always go to places like TGI Fridays.

Just out of interest, what do you guys consider to be "British" food?

For me, when I think of British food, I think of tea foods...rashers and eggs, breads, tea, jams...YUMM-O

Fish and Chips! Yummy!

I voted for Mexican since I'm part italian and I think of pasta as regular food. :teeth:

I'll eat or try just about anything... however, I'm a American girl... I have too many picky eaters here to cook anything than what they know.. That is why DH and I try new cuisines at Epcot while we stop by the American pavilion to feed our kiddos...

I can't pick just one! Of what's listed, I would say Italian and French are my favorites. I also LOVE Indian food. Spicy curry, yum-o!

TOO MANY CHOICES :hyper: :hyper:

I put Mexican because it is definately the best but I also love Italian, Caribbean, Chinese....I just love to eat, I guess. I do most of the cooking in our house and it is usually fun to try different foods and recipes but Mexican is definately a staple of our home. :thumbsup2

I voted Italian. I wonder if anyone will vote British...over cooked veggies...yummmmmmmmm. The best food in the UK imho is the Curry! :) Or maybe it's just my mil's cooking! DOHK!!!

Beth ;)

LOVE pasta and pizza and all that yummy Italian food!
What do I consider to be British food?
*roast dinner with yorkshire puddings
*toad in a hole
*scotch eggs
*anything "& chips"
*jacket potatoes

I have lots of my Dad's family still in England. Haven't been "home" in about 7 years but need to plan a trip there soon!
Lydia

Japanese, of course! :) Homestyle stuff.

I do like all types of food though.

Chinese
Mexican (kind of a prerequisite for a Californian)
Italian
Middle Eastern
Korean
Thai
Caribbean

It's funny but in our family, and even our extended family, there is not one drop of Italian blood. However, Italian cuisine is one of the few meals we can all agree on for Sunday dinner...linguine and clams, antipasto, cod pomodoro, etc. We can never have too much garlic.

Now, if you're talking take-out, Indian food wins, no question. This new place I have been going makes their food so spicy, it is almost painful to eat. It clears out the sinuses though!

This really is a hard question. I voted Chinese, I love chinese food!! Although, sometimes there is nothing better than a big hamburger and fries. Mexican is good too, okay I just love to eat!! :teeth:

MMMMM, tabbouleh, couscous, hummus, tikka masala, lamb...can you see where I'm going with this one?

Hope you're feeling better, Lauri. :sunny:
