Anyone cook meals in their studio room? Looking to do 1-2 dinners in our studio room for my upcoming trip. Thinking something I can take it frozen (driving down and willh ave cooler) and heat in microwave. Any good suggestions out there?

The only meals we cook in our studios is breakfast. We bring a small electric skillet to cook eggs, hash browns, French toast, etc. Don't know why you couldn't use a crock pot or and electric skillet to cook regular meals. The only thing I think you couldn't do easily is boil pasta.

I bring my own food for religious dietary restrictions reasons.
I freeze it and warm it up in the microwave. I only do this for dinner.
I have brought chicken, rice, chow mein, meatballs, egg rolls, cold cuts, potato pudding ("kugel"). Everything worked out fine, and I think I eat quite well during my stays.

DW usually makes a one pot meal:
Stew
Soup
Lasagna
As we usually stay in studios, these work out great for reheating in the microwave. We sometimes will eat breakfast out and then depending on what we are doing that day either lunch or dinner in the room every day.
