Have never eaten around the world, but have eaten at 2 countries from worldshowcase (mexico and UK) - have looked at all the menus and wondered what was people's favourites from the different menus. We want to try out Yakitori House, Tangierine Cafe and Lotus Blossom Cafe. :listen:

We like the schwarma platters at the Tangierine.

We love the Lotus Blossom Cafe DH and I had the Orange Chicken and the Twice Cooked Beef, both were delicious and we make a point of trying to go each trip. It has had a refit recently and it's lovely and cool inside. We don't touch anything from the Yorkshire Fish and Chip Shop it's way too greasy and soggy for us, we like our fish and chips clean and crispy. It always smells like they need to change the oil desperately whenever we walk near the place honestly you shouldn't be able to smell it from the "Paris" side of the bridge :eek:

we ate at yakitori and had the combo platter. it was yummy and enough food for 2 of us to share.

We share food from Tangierine and it's always delicious and plenty to feed two. Major bargain and probably my favorite food in the World!

The Tangierine is incredible! We would chose those lamb schwarmas over most TS meals.

If you are also looking at Table Service restaurants, my favorites would be:

Nine Dragons -- General Tso's
Le Cellier -- Filet Mignon

I really liked the combination plate at Cantina de San Angel. It wasn't the best mexican food I have ever had by any stretch of the imagination, but it was one of the best CS meals I have had at WDW. And the churros are HUGE!

from Wikipedia:
Shawarma is made by placing strips of meat or marinated chicken on a skewer. Animal fat and an onion or tomato are placed at the top of the stack to provide flavoring. The meat is then roasted slowly on all sides as the skewer rotates in front of or over a flame for a period of several hours (see rotisserie). Traditionally a wood fire is used, but recently a gas flame is more common. While many specialty restaurants might offer two or more, usually of different meats some establishments have one skewer.

Different sort of meat can be used for it, The principle is that the meat will be placed on a skewer, and can be grilled even for the whole day. Chunks of meat fat make sure that the meat stays fat and juicy.

After cooking, the meat is shaved off the skewer with a large knife, an electric knife or a small circular saw, dropping to a circular tray below to be retrieved. Shawarma is most commonly eaten as a fast food, made up into a sandwich with pita bread or rolled up in lafa (a sweet, fluffy flatbread) together with vegetables and a dressing. Vegetables commonly found in shawarma include cucumber, onion, tomato, lettuce, parsley, pickled turnips, pickled gherkins, cabbage, and in some countries, such as Jordan, Israel or Saudi Arabia, french fries.

And here is what the platters come with according to Allears.net:
Shawarma Platters - served with side of hummus, tabbouleh and Tangierine CousCous salad with fresh Moroccan bread. Chicken & Lamb $13.95; Lamb $11.95; Chicken $11.95

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe - Norway

Sandwich, soup, drink and dessert (sweet pretzel with almonds oh my!!! :lovestruc ) - easily feeds 2 for $10!

We liked the food at Sunshine Seasons there's always plenty of choices for us, we still can't get over the "Beaver Tails" (near Canada) no longer being available though:sad1:
The burgers and hotdogs are always a must whenever we go to American Adventure, you know the place next door they do amazing desserts too.:thumbsup2
Have yet to try anything from the Fountain View every time we go it's closed!! I know the character meet and greet around the back probably causes the problem, they should relocate the character meetings to the old Odyssey Building.
Once we get out next trip booked I'll see what ADRs we may try in Epcot we have discussed the Rose and Crown before but find some of their prices a little high.

Wow, that was quite an answer. Thanks!

I like the shawarma. Will have to try the lamb, I've only gone with chicken.

I also like Tangierine's veggie platter.
