ME when you have changed resort last minute?

We just changed from ASMu to CBR and our trip is in 15 days. I am pretty sure we will not receive luggage tags in time but that is OK since I planned on picking up our luggage ourselves anyway ( late arriving flight) Now, do I just go to the CBR line with my ME booklet that says ASMu? Will I need my Magic Band? I know it will work out somehow, but I am trying to surprise my kids last minute with the upgrade. Thanks for any help.

As long as your reservation number (resort) hasn't changed, you should be fine. I carry my ME voucher page, but I wear my MB as well. Just tap the screen and you're on your way. When you get to the bus checkin line, tap your MB and the CM will (hopefully anyway) say...'CBR?' and direct you to the proper line.

The voucher won't matter because when you scan your Magic Band, the CM directing people will see that it says CBR and point you to the correct line. I'll warn you though that when we scanned our band at DME, all the CMs were confirming "Caribbean Beach, party of two" or whatever resort it was. Just don't want the surprise spoiled at that point for you.

We switched 20 days out once and all of the information updated. They told me no matter what it says, the barcode they scan (on the voucher and Luggage tags) would give them the updated information. This was before Magic Bands and they just told me to mark out the original resort name and write in the new one; but they actually managed to send me a new booklet and new luggage tags in time. I see that isn't important in your situation since you'll be picking your luggage up. Like others have said, now with the Magic Bands, you’ll be fine.

Yes, I figured that they would find out at the DME kiosk.

My information didn't get updated properly even though I changed it well in advance. They still had me listed at CSR even though I was at the Poly. They updated it at the ME kiosk.

We had to come in one day early because of the snow storm in NJ last month. I booked the extra night at ASSP, used my luggage tags from OKW, and just crossed out OkW on the tags leaving the bar code visable. When we got to
MCO we went to the DME desk and they gave me a pass to get on the bus. I gave them my DME voucher but they said they needed to print out a voucher for the new hotel. We arrived at 8PM and let DME take our bags to ASSp.
Going back we also had to stay an extra night because of the snow in NJ so I just called DME and changed our
flights . We got our DME voucher hanging on our door but they had the correct new date and flight # but wrong pick up time. Everything was corrected and we got DME at 7:15AM for our 10:15AM flight. They are used to flight changes and cancellations.
