Does anyone have any tipping ettiquite for ME?

Do we tip the drivers?

Who do we tip for our luggage?

I know a lot of work goes into moving the luggage to our room, but who should we actually tip?

Thanks in advance!

The official policy is that tips are provided by Disney and are included in the free service. We may not even see any of the people handling our bags, especially if they are delivered while we are at the parks.

Tips are covered for the arrival...but if you have the bellmen pick up your bags when you depart...that is not covered.

Included tips pertain to the bell staff, not the DME drivers.

Tips are not included for the drivers as they do not work for Disney.

I was just thinking about that, too.

Localdriver, what would an appropriate tip be for the driver? Is $5 too cheap? Also, is it the driver him/herself that puts your luggage (carryons, strollers) on the bus, or is it a different person altogether?

Yeah....that's all that I was talking about...

"Are gratuities included for the luggage delivery to the Resort room by Bell Services?
Yes, but for the inbound service only. Gratuities are not included if the Guest elects to utilize Bell Services for assistance with their luggage from their room to the motor coach pick-up area upon departure."

It is the driver that handles all that, but more importantly, transports you and your family safely to/from your resort.

An amount is a persons personal choice. It's all about the service you receive.

It is very much appreciated as a coach operator's gratuities provide 30+ percent of their gross income.

Thanks, localdriver.

Is it best to tip upon arrival at the resort or before the trip starts?

Most people do so upon arrival.
