have been digging for the last 2 weekends and the odd night,for the factualy minded of you i removed 15 cubic metres from the ground.
Reason why we have had to pile as ground is poor,so you only have to go down 700mm below damp then plile and ring beam it,its 2.8 metrers out 12 metres along the back and 6 metres down the side.have had to go throught the patio i put in removed pavings and had to go througth screed concrete and mot.
Worst thing about work below ground it never gets seen and its hard work,next after concrete tomorow or thursday. i have to revove soil and rubble from center area stone up then poor a slab

when were quoted it was for 4 metres down so the extra depth is going to cost me at least and extra £1k

well all that hard work now covered with concrete,ready for me to start on brickwork up to dam and put a raft in(not kali river type) which will be tied into house,will post more photos when that being done as concrete just looks like concrete

Hope you manage to find some time to relax over the bank holiday when you're not laying bricks etc
Am in work all over easter,as trying to handover a job next week.working on a school and they only shut down last thursday so no scope for any rest.
Am working a couple of hours at night to get ready for brickie my BIL.As i was only going to start easter i am ahead of shedule
