ME return to airport question

I was just reviewing all my documentation and I noticed the ME vouchers have my flight arrival info correctly but they don't have the date of departure although they do have the flight #. I emailed all the info to them months ago and got a verification email from them with the correct info.

I know we will be able to get to the resort I'm just worried about the return trip to the airport. Is this something I can clear up with them when we land in Orlando. Don't want to call if I don't have to.

No problems at all, they just assume checkout day is the day of the flight unless otherwise told. On the day before your departure you will get an envelope on your door with your MDE bus information. They will give you a departure time roughly 3 hours before your flight time. If you don't get that envelope then you should ask about it.

Thanks for the info. So I don't need a bar code voucher specifically for the return trip? Do I hold on to the voucher for the trip to the hotel and use that for the return? It's been a few years since we went and I can't remember if I had bar code vouchers for both directions.

No and no.

They will leave everything you need on your door the night before departure.

All you need for the return trip is the letter in the envelope they attach to your door.

You basically take your luggage to airline check-in at your resort (assuming you are using one of the participating airlines) whenever you want the day of your return. You check-in for your flight there. Depending on when your bus leaves you can then do other things, then return for your bus departure, bringing the letter with you. You give that letter to the bus driver.

I noticed you are for Canada so there might be a few minor differences, not sure if you are counted in the international bunch that requires 4 hrs instead of 3 ahead of time or not.

I do see that Canada still includes the direct luggage instead of like some international travelers have to clear their luggage through customs inbound and bring the luggage to MDE and have different requirements on departure.

Thanks for the update. Minor panic now over and done with. I haven't been on here in a few days and when I came on yesterday I saw that MK Park hours had changed for the first week of December. I was busy reworking plans last night. Scored a new FP.

Just spending time this morning making sure all my ducks are in a row before the final count down begins and now they are.

Also, if you have received the Magic Bands you don't even need the bar code for your inbound flights. Not totally sure if Magic Bands are shipped to Canada or not, but if they are you can use your Magic Band for check-in with MDE. Of course you should still leave the bar-code in your luggage just in case.

They have two stations, the first station verifies your Magic Band actually works and the second one is where you check-in.

When you are leaving the band is no longer needed. It isn't used for return trip at all.

Have a great trip, we were just there two weeks ago.

Thanks Maurauder, I'm starting to get excited. This is the first time we are leaving our DS's (22,19,17) at home when going to Disney. I'm making plans for them to make sure everything gets done around here (ie. the pets will still be alive when I get home) as well as a few last minute changes to park plans. I'm actually contemplating a 7am RD at MK on Dec 4 before we head over to Epcot for 9am RD. We'll have to see how much energy I have left by the end of the week.

Good to know ME will go smoothly.

Yep. Just be sure to stop by at least 24 hrs prior to departure time.
