ME Question

Hi All, I imagine this has been asked many times- apologies.....
We are heading to WDW in August. We have been many, many, many times before- but always use a private car service. This will be our first time using ME. I did not add ME when I made our resort reservation in Feb. Do I need to call and add this to our reservation- or can we just show up tot he ME area and give them the reservation number. We want to look after our own luggage (picking it up, putting it on the bus, etc.). Just want to make sure we will be ok just showing up- without it being added before hand. TIA for replies
