ME Packet not recognizing DD's separate arrival

I have a question regarding Magical Express and a member of my party arriving a couple of days after the rest of our party. When I called Disney to give them our flight details I gave them all of our flight numbers as well as arrival and departure dates. I specifically mentioned that my oldest DD would be arriving two days after the rest of our family. When my ME packet arrived the tickets all had us arriving and departing on the same day (we are leaving the same day). I called Disney to change this and they said no problem but I have not yet received anything. Also, for some reason they have my DD listed as the lead person on one of our rooms. We are getting connecting rooms on the same res # - the CM I talked to told me that my name is actually the lead on the reservation but when the Mickey Mail came with luggage tags it had my DD on one of the rooms and my DH on the other as the lead names.

I am pretty sure that since my DH holds the credit card for the room that check in (I plan to use online anyway) should not be an issue. However, what will happen with my DD and Magical Express on the day she arrives? Can she just show them her ID and the yellow ME card type thing that came in the packet? She is not checking any luggage as she is not flying in on an airline with free checked bags.

My biggest concern is that she will be coming in while we are at the parks and I don't want her to have any issues. Our plan was that she would fly in, that I would leave her KTTW card at the desk for her to pickup, and then after getting settled meet up with us. Is that even a workable plan?

Thanks for any info you can give.

One time I arrived Sunday and my friend did not arrive until Wednesday. I was renting a car but she was using DME when she arrived. I gave them her flight info but the paperwork came with my arrival date. It was not an issue, she was able to use the voucher when she arrived and the luggage tags.

She will have no problem, just make sure she has her voucher!!

They are on the 2nd to last page of the DME booklet. Should say "transportation voucher" right on them with the name of the traveler, just punch out hers and she is good to go.

The yellow tags are for the luggage- she won't need this since she is not checking any bags.

If for some reason she doesn't have the voucher she can just check in at the DME desk and they will re-print one for her.

I have done exactly what you are doing a few times with my DH and once with my sister. They arrived a day or two after we did, took DME and picked up the key at the front desk without issues :)

You get DME vouchers/tags for your arrival day...actually, the first day of your resort reservation. Even if you have 3 people, coming in on different days, on different airlines, it wouldn't make a difference. You get one set of vouchers and one set of tags.
As long as your dd has her voucher in hand, when she arrives at the DME area, she will be good to go. She will not get anything new with her actual arrival date on it.

Thanks so much :lovestruc!! I feel so much better knowing this is not an unusual situation.
