Asking a question for my Mom. Her and my sister are leaving June 24 for WDW and they didn't get the ME tags.Is this normal? They got the Mickey mail over 2 weeks ago.
All you need to do is take your regular airline-issued luggage claim checks
to the DME check-in desk. They can pick up (and deliver) your bags using only those claim checks.

Yes that is a true statement. And I had to do that for my May trip because my trip was booked so last minute they didn't have enough time to get luggage tags to me. (and the closer you get to your travel date the more likely they are to tell you that there isn't enough time to get the tags to you! I was told more than once they need 10 business days.) But it requires a stop at the ME Desk. And sometimes that line can be REALLLLLY long!!!! and if they have their ME booklet that has the motorcoach passes, If I were them, I would want to bypass that ME desk and just get into a line to board a bus to my hotel. But if your luggage doesn't have the yellow tags on it, you will have to stop at that desk and give them to luggage claim ticket (temporarily) for them to call over and have your luggage pulled. Is it the end of the world? No, but they still have enough time to call ME now and get luggage tags sent. I wouldn't wait until next week to see if they show up. That's JMHO!
