ME-Late Arrival-Dif. Hotel Next Day??

We are arriving late (after 11 pm) on a Thursday evening and spending one night at Pop. Early the next morning, we are taking a taxi so we can carry our own luggage as we switch to WL for the remainder of our stay. Dh and I are going to each take a carry-on bag and just take it ourselves to ME. If we decide to check a bag and we do not want to collect it ourselves, it will more than likely not reach us until the morning hours. (We don't want to stay up and wait for it; thus, we've been told, it will be brought to us in the morning.) Is there any way we can have this bag sent directly to WL?

I think no, unless they fail to bring it to you before the taxi leaves.

If we imagine that the bag got to your Pop Century room in the evening before yuou did, you would have to schlep it to the taxi yourself anyway.

For the bag to be delivered to Wilderness Lodge directly, a room has to be associated with the bag upon the bag's arrival and your room is not assigned until the enxt day when you move over.

I know that if you switch resorts - Disney will transport your bags to the next resort. We switched resorts on our last stay and they took the bags to the new resort for no charge - and delivered them to our room. The bags get free transportation - you have to get yourself there. I think you could do ME the night before - get your bags very early in the morning - and tell bell services to deliver them to your next resort. Then you can taxi to your next resort with no bags in tow - check in - and enjoy the parks.
