Uh oh! My magical express documents are wrong!

I called my TA and I know she will help me figure it out tomorrow when she's back in the office.

We leave in 20 days. What will happen? Will we be able to get new ones?

They have no arrival information at all and have us departing on the day we change to our package....

We have room only reservations for 2 days and then 5 days package.

In the packet is the number for ME. You can call them and give them the flight information. It's very easy. BUT since you used a TA, the TA should take care of it for you.

Don't worry about fixing the going home part of Magical Express until after you get there. Easily done down there and less of a chance of messing up the Disney bound part.

If arrival in Orlando is wrong by just a few hours or is left blank or shows 12:01 AM (like an unset VCR), it is not critical to get it fixed.

If the resort name is incorrect and you don't receive corrected yellow tags in time, draw one line through the incorrect resort name and write in the correct resort name.

You should have two separate DME reservations.

Your first DME reservation -- your inbound DME reservation -- is associated with your 2-night room-only reservation. As long as your hotel information is correct, the flight information doesn't really matter. DME is a function of your Disney lodging reservation, not of your airline reservation. Your DME packet with the yellow DME tags only applies to the inbound DME reservation. The departure information will automatically show your check-out date from your 2-night room-only stay, which you can safely ignore this because you're not using DME that day.

Your second DME reservation -- your outbound DME reservation -- is associated with your 5-night package. You should not receive a DME packet because you're not using DME to arrive at the resort. You'll receive an envelope with instructions under (or on) your door the day before you check out.

If you want to double-check that everything is okay, call Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 866-599-0951 with both reservation numbers (room-only and package).

Ok, I looked at it again (when I calmed down after being all :hyper2: about getting Mickey Mail...

The date on the ME luggage tags and on the ME vouchers show our arrival date as 12/10. Our actual arrival date is 12/8. I see now that it says it is good for both directions (to and from WDW) but the arrival date is still wrong. So we should be ok with our return. Our return flight number is listed but no arrival information is listed.

So are you saying we should get ANOTHER set of vouchers since we have two separate reservations?

It sounds like you got the package ME packet first. As far as the package knows (if a package can know anything LOL), you ARE arriving on that date.

We are starting with a room only, and got one ME packet for that, and then we have some DVC stays, and we got a second ME packet to go home from the last place we're staying. Two separate bits of mail.

It seems that you received a DME packet for your 5-night package that begins 12/10, but not for the 2-night room-only reservation that proceeds it.

That's bad. It means that you might not have a DME reservation for your actual arrival on 12/8. If you use the yellow tags associated with your 5-night package, officially you would not see your bags until you move to your second room. In reality, you could undoubtedly get them sooner with some phone calls on your part (and scrambling on Disney's part) after you arrive.

Call Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 866-599-0951 with both reservation numbers (room-only and package). Make sure they know you need an inbound DME reservation associated with your 12/8 check-in for your 2-night room-only stay. Confirm the outbound DME reservation associated with your 5-night package.

They should still be able to mail a new packet to you with new yellow tags, if you call soon.

It may be a round-trip to you, but from a Disney systems perspective, these are two separate hotel reservations, each of which needs to be associated with a one-way-only DME reservation.

Calm down and just call DME. Be sure they have you listed in their system as arriving on the 8th. If they don't, then have it done. You may still have time to get your packet with luggage tags before you leave. They supposedly only need 10 days lead time to get that packet out.

:goodvibesThanks everyone.

I just have to say that I have the best TA ever. She just called me and we chatted for about 40 minutes. She checked and Disney never sent the documents for our room only reservation so she's getting new ones issued today.

All is well. :goodvibes
