I know the ME busses stop at more than one resort. Can someone tell me which resorts are together? My sis, her hubby, and 3 kids are arriving the day after me. They have ressies at ASMu,I am staying at POFQ. Her oldest will be staying with me so that they will be within occupancy limits.(yes, I have him on my ressie, so he is legal) My sister is a little worried about putting her 15yr old on a bus by himself at night. Does ME combine routes at night? Do the busses board right next to each other? Thanks for any info!

When we used ME a couple of weeks ago AKL was grouped with All Stars, POP and CSR. It looked like all the buses were loaded at the same place.

There are no pre-set DME routes, and there are no pre-set groupings of what resorts always go together on a bus. So there's literally no way of knowing in advance. It's pretty safe to say that your nephew's DME bus will stop at resorts other than just POFQ. But there's no way of knowing which resorts, and thus there's no way of knowing whether POFQ will be first, second, etc.

If it has to be done the way you're describing, then you sis should talk to the DME people in charge of the bus queues/loading the buses to make sure they know about your nephew, just in case your sis' bus leaves before his. If his leaves first, she can tell the driver personally and ask him/her to make sure the 15 year old gets off at the right place. Also, if she wants to see him get on his bus and she wants to talk to the driver even if her bus comes first, she can just skip her bus and wait for the next one going to ASMu; sure, this will slow her down, but it might make her feel better. The driver doesn't have a list of passengers, and she is not reserved for a specific bus at a specific time, so she could absolutely hang out until her son's bus comes, in order to talk to the driver, see her son off, etc. If he has a cellphone, she can keep in contact with him that way, too, which of course is what every 15 year old boy wants anyway .... :rolleyes1

I should also add that although the buses are outside, the bus queues are inside. They are all parallel to each other. Picture six or seven rows of velvet ropes parallel to each other, with both sides open (one side for getting into the line, the other side ending at a podium where the DME CMs conduct things, and from where you would walk to get outside to your bus. So your sister can at least be in visual contact with your nephew while they're in line waiting for their respective DME buses. And who knows ... it's POSSIBLE they could be on the same bus! You just never know.

Cell phone! Duh! (Smacks head) I gave him one for his last b-day, in spite of my sister not being too thrilled. Now he uses it to keep in touch with his mom when he golfs and when he goes out with his friends. I don't know why I didn't think of that. That is great! He can stay in touch with mom, and then call me when his bus is near the hotel. Thanks for all your help!
