MDX FastPass+ Page

Tonight is the big night ...or possibly tomorrow morning =) to make my fastpass + selections for myself, DD & DGM. I looked at it this morning to check it out and when I hit "make my fast pass+ selections, the icon for ONLY myself is showing up. I need to make selections for 2 other people in my party. All hotel and tickets are linked to my account with everyone's name. My family members both appear in my "family & friends" list. I sent them emails last week and they accepted them. When I choose the " Indicate who will share the same FastPass+ selections for the day and park you choose." Only I am appearing. Will my mother and daughter's icon appear tomorrow? Does this make any sense at all? =) Please help.

Call Disney as soon as you can.

You are, in my opinion, experiencing one of those glitches that Disney cannot remove from this process.
 
Just called tech support. They said my account looks good. My other 2 family members will appear tomorrow morning on my 60 day mark. I'm ready to go! =)

EDIT: The below pertains to Room-only reservations and separate tickets:

You should see them NOW because you can NOW make FP+ selections within the next 30 days.

(I know you want to actually make FP+ for 60 days out, but you can ALWAYS make FP+ selections within 30 days
if you have valid park tickets.)

Do the others have valid TICKETS connected with their MDX accounts?
 

Robo, tech support told me my day to make FP+ is tomorrow, 12/30. She said at midnight tonight, my 2 other family members names will appear. OMG, is tech support wrong? ugh! If I stay up until midnight and those names do not appear, I am going to be a very unhappy Disney person =(. Our first day in Disney is February 28th.

You should see them NOW because you can NOW make FP+ selections within the next 30 days.

(I know you want to actually make FP+ for 60 days out, but you can ALWAYS make FP+ selections within 30 days
if you have valid park tickets.)

It has happened to me every single time I've used FP+.
If you buy your tickets as part of a package, you can't make FP+ for the next 30 days because those tickets are assigned to a particular time period (ie your package dates).

To the OP: in my experience, tech support is right and you're fine. This has been the case for me 3 times and I've never had a problem when the window opens.

Do each of the OTHERS have a WDW PACKAGE that INCLUDES the tickets as a part of the resort reservations?

Or do some or all of you have ROOM-ONLY reservations with tickets purchased separately?
 
I purchased everything using the Disney VISA card to get my $200 giftcard and 30% off hotel room. This is a package - room and tickets. So according to SarahDisney I believe I am good to go!? Boy, this can get very confusing! :confused3
 
All members of our party have the MYW package. All 3 are the exact same. I just checked this on MDX. The only red flag is that we are staying on disney property for 3 nights and have a 6 day hopper. (We are staying OFF property for the remaining 4 nights)...could this be the problem?

In my case? I believe so. I've only made an ADR outside of 60 days once (I'm a last-minute planner), but everyone was there as an option.

I can't guarantee that what I'm saying is right, but I know that in the 3 situations when I had packages booked, before 60 days out only my name appeared, and once the window opened, everyone's name showed up.

If YOUR name shows up (and you have a Resort Package) why would not your other family members'
names show up since they also have the same package?

I don't care how many "don't worry" replies I get.
I would worry... until this weird inconsistency is fixed... if ever.

I should specify that in my case it says I don't have a valid ticket media and can't make FP+ ... I don't know if that makes you feel any better about the software.

But I do understand where you're coming from and why you'd worry. It does seem poorly written.

I'm of the school of thought that "it works, so I don't worry," so I'm fine with it.
 
I've made all my dinner reservations for all 3 people already..did this at the 180 day mark. However, another red flag is that is DOES show a greyed out "i" ~ information saying that I do not have the correct ticket media. I've linked the tickets (6 day hopper) several times and this is showing in my MDX under reservations. Well, I've done everything that I can, including tech support. Tech support says that they get this question all the time. I will call again this afternoon. Sometimes you get a different answer when you get a different tech support person. Let you know what happens tomorrow morning:confused3

All of my family & friends showed up this morning! I made all my fastpass+ selections. This was no problem at all. Thanks SarahDisney!!

This has become my problem with the technology.

I also worry and make certain that before I stay up at 1am to make my plans become a reality, I call and bother Disney personnel to make certain that the many glitches that remain in their system do not impact my ability to do what Disney claims I should be able to do.

Personally, I don't mind too much having to get on the phone with Disney. I work from home. I'll be calling once I approach my 90 day mark and make a necessary Park ticket purchase.

So when Disney claims they are making more money from adopting FP+, I am skeptical because I have a difficult time imaging that added costs for all the people on the phones, at the kiosks, and at the hotels really adds to the bottom line. Selling more tickets because Magic Kingdom has expanded is one way revenue has increased, raising prices after a recessionary period adds to revenue - I'm not convinced FP+ adds to revenue.

Regardless, FP+ has made managing E-ticket rides much easier for my family....I spend the same excessive amount of vacation money.....but I do get on the phones more often to make certain that my worrying does not become a reality.
