MDE - not all tickets were linked

Just curious if this has happened to anyone else. Already had a resort reservation on MDE for 5 family members. Just purchased 5 park tickets online and they were automatically linked to my MDE based on the family member assignments that you provide when you checkout to purchase the tickets. Except there is one missing ticket for one of my children. We are within the 60 day FP+ window so this means I cannot make FP+ selections for one child. Chat CM told me to call ticketing and get the actual ticket ID from Will Call for that child and manually link it. Called ticketing, they are closed until tomorrow.

Will this manual link work and we'll live happily ever after? What could have gone wrong to cause the failure of one ticket to link? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.
 
I'll follow up on my own question in case anyone searching has the same issue. A call to ticketing was redirected to website/MDE support. Eventually it looks like the missing ticket was linked and now all is well. Not sure how it happened but it can be fixed.
