MDE keeps asking for my password

here now, using iPhone, and MDE wants my password again every couple hours, which is a pain. Any way to fix that?

Since I have the "finger print ID" on my iPhone, I just have to touch the Home button and I'm in business.

I believe they are not saving passwords as long as a security measure. It is annoying but like Robo I have my finger print turned on so it is 2 seconds.

It no longer saves your password. This is something built into the software and you will have to continue entering it. :(

This was the greatest thing in the parks! So glad I bit the bullet and got a new iPhone before our trip!

(I had a 4 year old Samsung that stopped holding a charge the week before we left).

Any one have any clues why Disney thinks they need that high a level of security on their app? Even my bank app isn't that bad

Probably just so they cut down on people claiming their kids ruined all the plans because they got into the app and their password was saved.

My bank kicks me out with 10 minutes of inactivity and does not allow password saving except for finger print so I'm not sure what bank you use but the 4 different ones I use all have security around passwords.

Mine lets you save a password if you want (I don't) and yes it kicks out with inactivity but MDE kicks you out even with activity.

As for kids getting in to it that seems easily solved by not giving your kids your phone. I was thinking about lost or stolen phones and why MDE needs such high security in those cases. Seems bizarre they lock it down so tight. Bizarre and annoying

I also enabled my touch ID for our last two trips for this reason - I take it off after the trip too :)

A lot of parents would riot at the suggestion of not giving their kids their phone haha.

Just curious why you remove it? It's one of my favorite things about my phone!

My kids ask me the same thing lol but I just don't like having any password or touch ID on my phone. I am trying to get used to it and I do put it on any time I travel now (not just Disney) but when I am home I tend to turn it off.
