MDE App - have to log in every time? Can't edit ADRs

I believe there was recently an app update that might have been the start of this, but since then, I have to log into the MDE app every time I open it. It's really annoying!

Is there some way to make this easier?

Also, I haven't been able to edit my ADRs on the app since that last update. I'll pull up a reservation and click to modify it (i.e.: find a new available time), but it says it can't connect to the server.

I tried restarting my iPhone. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. No change... What to do???

I recently had the need to reset my IPhone and then had to reinstall MDE. Now, unlike in the past, I have to constantly log in. I called Disney tech support and they said it was because they just installed a number of security updates and there was no way around the problem. They also said they understood how annoying this might be, especially at the parks, and they were sorry for the inconvenience, but the updates were deemed necessary.

Oh, well.
 
Yea, totally annoying to have to keep logging on. It happened to me several times a day on our last trip in August.
 

The update is awful. Not only do I have to log in every single time, but at least 80% of the time it rejects my log in information 2 or 3 times before it lets me log in. It is a total pain.

This ^^^. I use safari 100% of the time. It is soooo much easier. I haven't opened the app in ages.
 
If you have Touch ID enabled for your iPhone, you can easily login by "touch" without having to key in a password.

It works on Safari. Thank you! It's a bit different to try to navigate, but it works.

What a waste with their app though! You'd think if anyone could get an app made right it would be Disney!
 
I was having a similar problem until I did the latest iPhone software update (iOS 9.3.5). Once the update was complete the problem went away. I'm not a techie so I can't explain why.

Nice to hear that 9.3.5 works.
I'm hesitating to do the upgrade.

Well aware... :headache:
Meant more in terms of they do so much so well (quite a successful empire!), you'd think they'd do whatever it takes to do this app well too!

So far I think that worked! I just completed that update a little earlier today.
I went to the app to log in, and I didn't have to log back on when I went back after an hour of being away from the app! Sweet!

Now, if only I could modify my dining reservations there... That still isn't working...

Thanks! I think that fixed it for me! Now, if Disney would just quit changing park hours and entertainment schedules my frustration level might be significantly lower!
