McClellan bashes the Bush Administration!

He certainly was an insider-good to finally hear the real story on Iraq is finally getting out. :thumbsup2

Well, obviously this story is not true. It's on Fox News!

:lmao:

Actually it is.. it was on the Today Show, too!:happytv:

I was SHOCKED.. this guy seemed at the time to be a wind up robot sent out to say what he was told... a total loyal geek!

Now he's saying what I said in 2002!! :lmao:

He's obviously seen the success Dick Morris has had bashing his former bosses.

This is good news indeed, but while the messenger may be a surprise, the message is not. The Iraq War has been a foreign policy disaster, clear for all the world to see. It has been poorly managed and has caused far more problems than it has solved. Only two countries have benefited from this war---Israel and Iran.

What we already knew. :(

:sad1:

This revelation is more about the 20% who still believe Bush's bologna.

So many dead, so many wounded, so many billions, so much destruction.

It's on MSN now also. Not news to me, I've been thinking these for years. Funny though how he stood up there all those years and defended these policies.

I hope McClellan has hired some bodyguards. The Rove machine is already rolling and nothing good when come from it.

The Iraq war as a maketing strategy? I didn't think it was possible to like Bush less, I wonder how he sleeps at night?

Wow, a guy trying to sell a book is stirring up controversy. Who would have guessed?

Are you suggesting that McClellan could be assassinated by Rove?

BREAKING NEWS: OBAMA SUPPORTER SUGGESTS ASSASSINATION OF FORMER BUSH ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL

That's not cool.

"bashes"=finally displays a modicum of honesty

I am so curious to find out all of the little dirty secrets of the Bush Administration as time marches on....I think GWB will not be remembered well in history once all of his lies come to light. Really I believe McClellan's book is the tip of the iceberg....once GWB is out of office, I expect to hear many more of his associates coming forward to discuss what went on behind the scenes of the administration....probably in an attempt to distance themselves from what they rightfully see as a president who led us into a complete and utter mess. GWB has the lowest approval rating of any president in history... even John McCain would not allow any cameras at the fundraising event held last night so he would not be photographed with GWB....to me that speaks volumes. GWB will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever.

Idly curious, do you believe he is lying?

I haven't read his book.:confused3 I do however have a problem with anyone who, rather than go through proper channels to report a problem (ie: start an investigation, etc), they choose to instead write a book to line their pockets. I would have a problem with either side of the aisle doing this, it's tacky to say the least and certainly not in our countries' best interest.

Do you think $cott McClellan’s new book ( a 341-page book to be released Monday) will cause as much damage to President Bush’s administration as the Richard Clarke tell-all book did?

Better yet do you think McClellan’s book will make more money than Clarke’s book?

Product Description

Yet Clarke also goes far beyond terrorism, to examine the inexcusable chain of recurring U.S. government disasters. Despite the lessons of Vietnam, there is Iraq. A trail of intelligence failures litters the Washington landscape. From Katrina to color codes and duct tape, "homeland security" has been an oxymoron. Why does the superpower continue to bobble national security?

McClellan provides unique perspective on what happened and why it happened the way it did, including the Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina, Washington's bitter partisanship, and two hotly contested presidential campaigns.

I think Jimmy Carter has him beat. I stay off the Obama thread since I am not a fan of him. But I think your post goes a bit too far...just saying...
