MB slides given out at check-in?

Has anyone received any decorative "slides" at check in lately for their magic bands?

I remember reading a few posts that some members had gotten them and others who had asked for them and received them but I can no longer locate the posts.

My sister and her family are there right now, doing a split-stay, and didn't receive any at either check-in.

I have only heard of a 2013 slide that was given out at the beginning of the MB program at the WDW resorts.

In Dec I asked at several resorts about any remaining 2013 slides. I finally found extras at The Polynesian for DH and me.

I was hoping there might be a 2014 slide. Guess not.

I just returned from WDW and asked about them while staying at SSR. They did not have them. They are now selling covers and beads to decorate the bands.

They were not available at bwv in October I was at guest relations after my granddaughter lost her mb and the cm tried to find some but couldn't. Btw my granddaughter did get her mb back after she lost it on tsm

I haven't heard of them being given out at check-in, but we saw them for sale in November and now they have a pretty good selection as of last weekend. Friends of ours purchased a pirate one.

Disney, please make a watch one. It would make it so much easier to know when to get to that ride I have a FP+ for!!

I know it's from a CM, but I will say, I heard from a CM working the FP+ program. That adding a watch (even a simple digital one) is the number one requested MB feature by guests.

I have to say I'm stll programmed when I have a bracelet on to look at it for the time. Even though I haven't worn a watch except as jewlery for 5 or so years.

I saw them in almost every gift shop at the parks and resorts. I think prices start at $6.95 and go up to $14.95. You can do a search for more information on styles and prices.
