Mayonnaise - hate it, hate it, hate it. Salad dressing like M Whip - also hate it! :faint:

That being said, are there any sandwiches or panini at Flo's or on Room Service menu that automatically have it already spread on the bread?

Or, better question, is it possible to get sandwiches "without" - or are they already pre-made (especially from Room Service).

Never ordered a sandwich from Room Service before, and usually ate lunch on excursions or at sit down restaurants.

Thanks for any advice!

I only had the bacon, tomato and brie Panini and it did not have mayo nor did the BLT I ordered from room service. I had other paninis on our last cruise and I do not recall mayo being on those either.

Tell us how you really feel... :lmao:

I don't recall any sandwiches having mayo. I do remember seeing packets available for one to add.

Regarding room service or any MDR, you can always request 'no mayo'

There is a separate bar for 'fixings' at Flo's. I'm sure it does have mayo (along with pickles and the substance I require next to air, ketchup), but its the kind of thing you add yourself. The panninis were like hot and melty, so none on those. They were perfect without! (and I happen to enjoy M. Whip myself.) But yes, I to answer your question, I don't think they come with. But you can always say to room service (never ended up getting any, so not sure) "hold the mayo". :)

Oh you and my boyfriend! He hates the white death too! :lmao:

But, yes, like others said, it's not been on even my BLT's from room service - it's on the side in packets. I would assume for food safety issues it's usually not there open or on the sandwiches that are pre-made.

And maybe there is a larger contingent of "white death" folks out there than previously realized! :hyper: but let's hope the 'bacon' phobes are few and far between! :lmao:

Wha... Wha... WHAT????? I'm guessing you tried to type in brussel sprouts and your phone auto-corrected to bacon?

Hey. Leave my baby cabbages alone! I even brought them for lunch today... :cloud9:

Since deciding not to eat anything with 4 legs and a cute face, I too am of the No Way Bacon Jose group. :sad2:

jk. Eat whatever you want! :rotfl:

Maybe it's just me but whenever we order from room service, our sandwiches are bathed in mayo even when I tell them absolutely no mayo. You can tell them no mayo from room service but make sure they understand and check the sandwich before you sign anything and the delivery guy leaves (if you wait until after, you go back into the rotation and have to wait again which can be long if it is a busy time).

As for Flo's I didn't even check because on the Magic/Wonder at Goofy's Galley most of the sandwiches have some condiment on them and I was told I couldn't get it without whatever it was on there. Figured Flo's would be similar.

We are unlucky like you because the 'white death' seems to plague us wherever sandwiches are 'sold'. My dd17 and I often end up getting something much less healthy because we cannot stand the white stuff.

We have a whole family of white death haters here! Can't tell you how much food was wasted when we discovered the offending product even though it wasn't listed on the ingredients.....

This is a must for bacon and tomato Samiches

I hate mayonnaise, too. I've eaten many bacon, tomato, and brie paninis, and none of them have ever had mayo. I also remember no mayo on the BLT. Request no mayo, and if they mess up, send it back. I'd rather starve than eat it. The texture is just so gross.

They CAN'T make it for you without a condiment??? This sounds utterly ridiculous to me! What about people with food allergies? Has anybody else had this same experience?

I'm asking because my DS15 has food allergies and also prefers his food to never have any condiments at all. Everything for him is always "on the side". This will be a big pita for us if we won't be able to get anything "plain" for him.

P.S. I LOVE mayo and bacon :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I will eat the awful stuff if it is in potato salad or tuna salad (unless the salad is extremely "creamy" and reeks of the stuff", but I would never, ever, ever, ever spread it on a sandwich. And if I ordered a sandwich or burger and mayo was on it even tho I had said, "no mayo":furious:, I cannot just scrape it off. I just can't manage to eat the "contaminated" sandwich:guilty:. I'm not obsessive-compulsive about any other food in the world (believe me - I'm a half-Pooh sized grannie) but there is something about the stuff that is so gross. My sons are like this, too. Maybe there is a self help group for Mayo haters?!?!?!?:confused3
