Well instead of walking we went shopping but sometimes that is just as hard. I had to find me a bathing suit before today! I found one that I was ok with.. I would've loved to just put on some shorts and shirt though!! lol Dinner was hibachi steak and chicken last night. I ordered extra zuchinnni.. i'm just in the mood for hibachi.. Dont know why!!! I ate a little bit.. took most of it home for today!

Today's plans:

Going to the lake w/ some friends..swim, tan...just have fun.. Not too sure about what we're going to do food wise yet!

Have a great time at the lake! I have to find a new bathing suit too; trying them on in dept. stores is one of my least fav. activities, so I've been putting it off.

Sorry you're going through some scary health stuff right now. I had a pretty major health scare myself last year, and it's hard trying to negotiate everything from doctors to insurance and still stay positive. But, you are strong and you can do it! And on really stressful days, plan to spend time with people who laugh a lot :)

Ok. We went swimming Saturday.. My arms were SO tired!! I got sunburned but now it's tan except for my nose looking like it's going to peel off my face!!!.. This is what I ate this weekend: (i'll just let you know it wasnt allt hat great)
Sat:
B peanut w/ a couple of heshey bar pieces
L chicken tenders and beer (went to hooters)
drunk a couple of more beers at the lake
D-hamburger w/3 cheese, split some fries w/DH;a coke :(

Sund:
B-peanut butter
L/D pizza
drank some coke

Yesterday:
L some pizza
D pizza again
(we ordered a HUGE pizza Sun night so we'll be eating that for awhile)

I know I didnt eat a lot.. I've just now realzied that I really dont eat a whole lot of food; that's my problem I guess

today i feel like I could cry!!! and I dont know why!! I've been having hot flashes this morning ( i swear I was going through menapause if I didnt know better!!!)... so toda wont be good.. i already know!

ok. dont know why i was on the edge of a break down yesterday but i'm much better today!

Yesterday this what i ate:

B-nothign of course
L-chicken sandwich w/ fries/ drank lowfat chocolate milk
D-ceaser chicken pita (only had maybe 1/2 the pita); fries
split a strawberry margerita cheesecake w/ 2 other people
drank some beer (happy hour!)

I walked for a little over 30 min as well...
I get paid this friday so we'll be going to the store..and getting some healthier stuff!! i told my husband we have to CHANGe our eating habits! He's ok with it!!!

but i am proud that this weekend I actually put on a bathing suit.. that's a HUGE accomplishment for me.. the last time I wore a bs was for our 1 yr anniversary cruise and that was maybe for 1 day!! and that was over a year ago!!

ok yesterday this is what I had:

B-nada (i'll work on that this weekend)
L-Chicken ceaser salad, sweet tea
D-Taco Bell...
only walked 15 min b/c my knee was killing me!!

today so far:
B-you guessed it
L-vegie chili; half a diet coke w/ lime; an iced white chocolate mocha (still drinking on)
D-not sure

my life is surrounded by drama that doesnt even belong to me!!! I know it's stupid but I'm involved...and it's stressful!! Plus my DH's car is Dead!!! the transmission is out so he's looking for another "newer" car for us.. his car was so old and we were basically waiting for it to die!! I mean it sounds like a go kart LOL :D so hopefully he can find something. we have a hook up at a "buy here, pay here" place so I hope he can get a good deal!! We're probably going to end up donating his car to the national kidney foundation..they dont care if it doesnt run!!

so i'll keep everyone posted (like you're on just sitting on the edge of your seat wondering about the car....)... have a nice weekend
 
Sorry things are so stressful. I know the feeling. Try using exercise to deal with stress - a walk/jog helps me... I just have to remind myself of that. I also deal with junk that I should just not let it affect me and that isn't healthy. Hope it is a good day today!

thanks for the encouragement. Well DH found a car..it's not what I would have picked out but it's cheap and it runs well so I am growing to like it! Today started ok.. I had breakfast..woohooo!!! :cool1: I bought a "low carb" smoothie yougart.. I did the low carb b/c the regular ones have a TON of sugar in them.. I coudlnt believe it!.. the weekend was ok. Probably ate some things I shoudn't have but it's ok.. Today is the start of a new week!

so far today:
B-smoothie
L-grits,peaches,some sun chips, and some fruit snacks (ok ya'll may ask "grits?"..I have some in my drawer that I dont have time for in hte morning so I'm eating them at lunch when I get the chance... lol)

ok.. i had breakfast again today woohoo..lol...
Dinner last night was a bowl of cheerios.. I was so tired ..didnt feel like cooking so I didnt..

today:

b-smoothie
l-tuna in a tortilla (2 of them),sun chips, peaches, fruit snacks, wter
D-??? who knows... we have a gift certificate to a italian place...we may go there...
 
ok dinner yesterday wasnt good at all but I hadn't had fast food in awhile and I was craving it!!! so I ate a cheeseburger, large fry and a medium coke around 5:30.. then a few hours later my DH got me a chocolate chip cookie dough blast at sonic... so i was bad last night...

Today for B I had grits...snack in a couple of hours will be my smoothie...then lunch...not sure what that will be. We have a rep bringing us lunch...gotta be good though!
 
Hey, where are you? No posting for a while, hope things are going well. I saw your trip ticker (sometimes its there, sometimes its not? weird), looks like you'll be at WDW the week before I get there. Are you excited?!?!?

hey disdon and gold cup.. thanks for checking on me.. i went "home" for the weekend and didnt have time to post.. I'll try to update soon. things are ok right now.. could be better but oh well.. i'm down to 177 so a couple of pounds gone.. let's see if they stay... i'm getting back on track with my walking so that will help.. now if i can get back on track w/ eating right...
 
wow.. been awhile.. a lot has been going on.... went to the md yesterday..good news..the ultrasound is clear but they still dont know what's wrong w/ me.. They told me "it's just you".. lol.. ok. thanks i'm a freak!! work has been a little stressful. I hope to get back on track soon... everything has been crazy!!!!.. i'll try to update more if I can remember what I've been eating! I hope everyone else is still doing good!!!
 
Hugs. You can do this! Congrats on the pounds lost!!! Every one is another step towards a weight loss victory! Sorry about the medical problem. Hugs, though.

Am I going to have to do some cheers and pep talks in here?

thanks for the response. I may need some pep! I just want to feel normal again....and i dont know when that will be and I hate that! i'm walking tonight though. probably for about an hour. I have to catch up on hte walking program at work!
 
I don't know what your medical problem is, but I'm here for you.

Now, for the pep talk.

I know you want to feel normal again, but sometimes you just have to roll with the punches. Just take every day one day at a time...I'm pulling for you!
