DH and I purchased APs in May of 2003 for our trip because we knew we would travel to WDW before they expired. We made reservations for transportation & hotel for March of 2004 and then DH was diagnosed with kidney stones, which were causing him a lot of pain. The doctor wrote him a note stating that he was unable to travel - we were able to get a full refund from transportation without any problems (from Amtrak). We then decided that we would renew our APs in May because we would go down in September and perhaps March. So we rescheduled our trip for September of 2004 and because of the hurricanes, we needed to reschedule again (had no problems rescheduling our flights and werenât charged any fees due to the weather). DH is unable to take any time off of work between Oct - Dec. so now we rescheduled for 10 nights in January and we hope all goes well. Do you think, only under these circumstances, that WDW would allow us to pay the difference for new APs instead of renewed APs? I think I may call just to check â it couldnât hurt, right?
