May Trip - Any thoughts on our plan?

We are flying into LAX on Saturday, May 12. We arrive at 11:05 and have lunch reservations at 2:00 in Del Mar. Do you think we can make it? After lunch we'll head to our hotel. We are staying in Coronado and plan to check in and explore. We will no doubt crash early after flying in from the East coast.
On Sunday, we plan to do the hop on hop off Trolly tour with a focus on Little Italy, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. Maybe too much?
On Monday we do SeaWorld.
On Tuesday we visit the Zoo and perhaps visit some of Balboa Park's gardens.
On Wednesday we plan to check out Embarcado and Sea Port Village. We figure we may have time for something else on this day.
On Thursday we check out. We plan to go to La Jolla and Mission Beach and then take the scenic route towards LA.
We are staying at the Fairfield Inn by DL until Tuesday. We plan on doing the LA/Hollywood tour on Friday and the parks Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
So? Any suggestions?

No, I don't think you can make it. Mapquest shows it's a 2 hour drive, so you need to leave LAX by noon. You land just after 11, need to get your luggage and your rental car. I think you are cutting it really close. Your rental car requires a shuttle bus most likely...you never know how those things run or how long the line will be. Sometimes I get my car in 10 minutes, sometimes it's 30+.

That sounds a lot like my schedule

We arrive on May 7, and are driving from the San Diego airport to Anaheim (we found a much cheaper deal to fly into and out of SD). We will have a couple days at DL, broken up by a Hollywood day (Hollywood Museum, Grauman's Tour, Wax Museum, Studio Tour and then a dinner at the Magic Castle). We'll end in LA with a half day at Universal, then head back down to SD.

We are going to spend a night at the Prohibition Bar, then a day at zoo/safari park followed by a midnight trail ride on the beach, we will go to the USS Midway in the morning then head out for a day/night of hiking and camping in the Mojave Preserve.

We knew this was pushing it. But, we really want to try the restaurant, so maybe the food and wine gods will intervene and give us smooth sailing through the car rental process.
