"May" the Sun Shine on Hakuna Matata!!!!

:tinker:In my best Robin Williams in "Good Morning Vietnam" voice:

Good Morning Hakuna Matata!!!!!

Gosh, what happened to last week? Where was I??? :confused3

Dave! Triangle and a beer on the Panda Logo?? Excellent! What a way to focus on a balanced life!!!! :cloud9: Way to go with the walking group!!!

Denise! PD to Mark on his leg! :tinker: And happy belated birthday to Nick!! :bday:

Lynn! Cortisone shots! :scared1: My body hates those! They make me feel yucky!

Everyone who gets massages, have you tried using the stick after training and races? I never leave home without it.

Vicki! Our total reflects your hard work! Thanks for submitting it! -- Next time my cats bring a mole to the house, I will put it in a Ziplock, freeze it, and then send it to you! Then you can study it at your leisure! I have a big female cat that was attacked by a mole when she was a teenager. She really has a thing against them now. The thing almost cost her, her tail!

Scott and Jack! Is that Tom-foolery you two are up too?? Wish I was in on it. :guilty:

Jen: You are the running Queen! I think Abba made a song about you!

Margie! We will do the Goofy and ENJOY it and that's an order!!! :lmao: I ordered the John Bingham and Jenny Hadfield Goofy training plan from Active.com. It was pricey, but I wanted to finish the Goofy, injury free, and in great shape to enjoy WDW! Besides Dave says we won't be left behind!

I apologize for missing anyone. I am not so good at power posts as some of the others. I did read and catch up with everyone. :grouphug: Keep posting, I am thinking of you all!

Make a great day! See ya! Connie

Good Afternoon Team!

Nothing exciting to report. The usual running, pilates & a weight class tomorrow.

Kitchen reno is in limbo. Cabinets were to arrive tomorrow with install on Thurs. Now they are not shipping until late May with an early June install. We still have the old range & sink but the no counter & dishwasher is a drag.

Scott & Lynn, have a nice trip. Please send a little warmer temps. our way. We've had sun but I find the wind still a little chilly.

Have a great day.........Sue

Erica and I had a very good day today, as good as yesterday sucked.

Started out we had a sunny day and 50 degrees when we started our 2 hour walk this morning. Erica did really good and we kept a brisk pace the whole time for a little over 8 miles.

Then a nice lunch at our favorite Red Lobster, I had blackened catfish and it was just right today some of the best I've had. Then we picked up Erica's free panty from Victoria's Secret along with the $10 off coupon so she could get one of her favorite bras for her mommy's day goody.

The we went home to wait for our stove to be delivered, that was a good excuse to clean the kitchen. We decided to recurtain the kitchen window, se we got a new heavy ornamental rod and hung it and the new curtains. I also fixed all the loose towel racks in the guest bathroom.

Our new stove worked and we made pizza with mushroom, black olive and extra cheese. It came out great, new stove works, YEAH!!

On the dark side we got another bill from ATT for $545 dollars, Erica had to get evil with them for about an hour on the phone before they saw things her way. But she won this round.

Hope everyone had as productive a day as we did.

Busy Panda:hippie:

Just in from a two mile run this morn here in San Jose, Lynn is up in Santa Rosa.

Dave good the battle went well with ATT, see you are a handy guy with the curtain rod.

Sue hang in there on the renovation.

Jack, I got a copy of the Press release from John, sounds like things went well.

Better get my rear in gear, teaching today.

Hi everyone! Got on the scale yesterday and I've gained 3 pounds since last month. Yikes! I hadn't planned on posting that but I figure it will force me to start making some better eating choices. Looking forward to watching the season finale of Lost tonight :) But I plan to get out and do some speedwork before then.

Sue - Sorry to hear about the delays :(

Connie - I'll just Google a pic of a mole. I think I was picturing a groundhog but if it fits in your freezer, it must be small :) I remember a couple of years ago, a co-worker caught a bat in his house and brought it work in a ziplock bag. It was so tiny. Not what I expected.

Dave - Yikes! That's a hefty phone bill - I'm glad Erica was able to sort everything out. Wish we had Victoria Secret stores in Canada.

Scott - How's the weather there? Send some of that warmer weather up north :)

Have a great day everyone :wave2:

Good morning y'all.

I had a very pleasent 8 mile walk with my walking group. We had a good comfortable 13 min per mile pace and the miles flew by. We do a lot of laughing and talking and I of course bore them with my stories as we walk.

It was threatening rain but it turned out beautiful other than ver windy.

Have an awesome day guys.

Good Morning Team!

Weather is nice here in Santa Rosa, I am staying with my cousin, and she has wireless, so I am set for posting. My Dad is doing well (he is in a rehab facility after a bout with a kidney infection caused by his prostate cancer). I have been having a good time visiting with him, my brother who lives with him and my cousin.

Today I will go out for a walk with my cousins dogs, and then do some leg exercises before heading back to visit with Dad.

Have a great day!

Hi all!

Just returned from a trip to Denver with my DD, DSIL, and DGD. We went to visit my DD Dana who lives in the Denver area. Didn't do any running while there except to run after my DGD at the zoo! She rode in her stroller from the parking lot to just inside the entrance and then she was on the run from there! She is 21 months old and her dad is the one who did the half marathon in 1:24 so I think she is well on the way to following in his steps.

Margie...You asked a few days ago about Anna. I am happy to report that she is back to work full time and as feisty as ever! She recently looked in to doing the C25K program. She has also had some infertility issues and her doctor would like for her to lose some weight. She had planned to train for the Indy half marathon before the whole problem with her heart came up, so now she is thinking about C25K to try and lose a few pounds. She is also taking a kick boxing class at the Y.:thumbsup2

I hope to get back to running this week or next. Looks like we are in for big thunderstorms today and rain for the next two days after that. I picked up plants for my garden today, but I'm beginning to wonder if it will EVER dry out enough for me to get them planted!

It went very well, I was going to PM you..

Thanks for doing what you guys do....

Howdy, Team!

Glad everyone is doing so well!!

MaryJ- Anna is doing wonderful! What great news!!!

Vicky - Moles are about the size of fat squirrel with no tail. They have great BIG teeth and BIG claws! They are quite the ugliest of all rodents and pure heck on a garden. They eat the roots of the plants. One day you have beautigul vegetable plants and the next day, ...zip! -- YOU will conquer those darn pound in nothing flat!

Good job on the mileage, Dave.

Scott and Lynn, have a great time!

Scott and Jack - Warriors are the heros and you are both my heros!

Sue - sorry about the renovations, but I think that delay is now the new "On time"!

Cleaning and cooking and taking care of things! Been doing some miles , stretches and weight resistance. :woohoo:

Seeya! Connie

Hi TEAM! :wave2:

Congratulations TEAM - Great Mileage and Time for April!!!!!

Sue: Hang in there and think of how wonderful it will be in the end…it will be worth all this mess! :upsidedow

:hippie: Nice miles with your Walking Group. Impressive a new stove and clean kitchen! What happened with the terrible charges from AT&T? I have AT&T UVerse – one charge monthly for Telephone, Internet, and Television. I like it.

Vicky: We can all relate to experience with weight gain. :rolleyes1
It is so frustrating when I am training hard it is impossible for me to lose weight! :sad2: Did a little scrap booking last night-:upsidedow

Lynn: Enjoy the time with family! :grouphug:

Mary: That is absolutely wonderful news about Anna's recovery & health.

Hey guys!!

Sounds like everyone is doing really well with training and life. I have been kinda blah lately. That job I want hasn't posted yet and I am desperate for a light at the end of the tunnel. My running has been sub-par and I am still struggleing with the 10 pounds I've gained since last fall. We are still trying to get pregnant and that has it's own frustrations. All I know is I NEED A TRIP TO SEE MICKEY! ::MickeyMo

Sorry to come at everyone with a rain cloud over my head!:sad2:

On the plus side...Jordan and I run a 10K on Sunday!

Hope everyone is well...and GET FACEBOOK ALREADY!!!

Hi Team!

Quite the full house today with may new posts.

Did weights at lunch & running tonight. Calling for rain tomorrow so I'll do spin.

Lynn, enjoy your visit with family.

Mary, That's wonderful news about Anna.

Eva, Hang in there. Hoping you will feel revitalized after Sunday's race.
I'm just putting in the miles. Seems like the same old routine all the time just a different day.

Have a great day......Sue

Margie. Our daughter had a cell phone account that she had opened for herself and a couple of friends in her name and we cleared it. Since she is expecting we are trying to get her life stable so her and her boyfriend can live and support themselves. Yes bad situation and a constant source of stress. But we are getting through it.

Eva, you are a very sweet lady and I hope all your dreams come true.

We will be in Canada at the end of the month so we are getting one of those stick on the windshield GPS things so we won't be wandering the wilderness lost.

Everyone Hi Y'all.

Happy Panda:hippie:

Vicky, That's so frustrating about people saying things like that and good for your co-worker for doing what she really wanted to do.

Connie, That's a hoot. My dance group did do a routine a mix from Mamma Mia!

I was tired from decorating for senior prank so I did an easy 5.5 miles at an 8 min/mile pace.

Best,
Jennifer

Ok Whats the prank?????:woohoo:

Good Morning Team..

I should be getting ready for work but just a quick note to tell you that my quilt studio has been featured in a blog from a Quilt Shop in Quitman Texas.

The best part is that there is an interest in using my Sweet Treats quilt as a block of the month or publishing it as a pattern. Who would have ever thought!?

Dave, we'll be getting your rain tonight and my fridge is so bare, it's worse than when I come back from disney so we have to get provisions and avoid the rain tonight so probably no walk tonight. My goal of 20 miles this week is heading down the drain, along with the rain. CRAP!

Anyway - here is the blog.

Good Morning, TEAM! :wave2:

We had a major Thunderstorm hang around for a long time during the night between that and sending 'both' of my pillow to the cleaners at the same time = Serious No Sleep issues today! :headache:

:hippie: Ouch - those children issues never leave home. But it was Good News that Erica did get it taken care of. ::yes::Congratulations on the gift of being wonderful grandparents! What a blessing ~ they do Squeeze Your Heart! Do you know yet if it's a Boy or Girl? :cloud9:

CONGRATULATIONS, Denise! Sweet Quilt & Nice write up in the blog from the Quilt Shop in Quitman Texas!

Eva-We missed you! :grouphug: Congrats to both you & Jordon on the 10K. :cheer2:

Jack, Senior Prank isn't really a prank. Each class has a color so we decorate/vandalize the various departments with symbolic things in our color. We're green so there was fake money in Econ, fake frogs in bio, toy soldiers in Political Science.

Eva, Good luck on saturday!

So apparently I've been going a little hard post-half (I blame the adrenaline (sp?)) and one of my knees is a little inflamed according my friend who's an athletic trainer. I'm taking a little easy and running on softer surfaces. So I did a little over 3.5 miles in 27 minutes (7:45 pace).

Oh and last night was the auction for the PE program I've collected points for and I won a $50 gift certificate to the Running Store and a Red Sox hat. So I think it may be shopping time.

Best,
Jennifer

Good morning team! I stayed up "late" to watch the season finale of Lost. I would have loved to re-watch immediately afterward but I wouldn't have been much use at work if I did. I did a 3 miler last night. I went a little slower than normal because my shins are still bothering me. I took DF with me and he ran a couple of laps too!

Jennifer - I think people at work are jealous - maybe they wish they could just pick up and leave for a job they love. Do you know what you're going to spend your $50 on? And what was the prank all about :)

Margie - We've got rain here too. I'm hoping it lets up by this afternoon so I can get in a few miles before dinner. Sorry to hear about your pillows. I have that same problem whenever I travel.

Eva - Good luck on your 10K! Are you going to WDW for free dining this fall?

Denise - Congrats on the write up! I think the Sweet Treats quilt is fabulous!

That's it for me! Have a great day everyone!
