8 Days for us!! I'm beside myself with excitement!! Anyone use gardengrocer.com? Since this will be our first time using ME, we will obviously not have a car... Thought it might be good to just get bottled water and cereal. It seems too good to be true... But, I absolutely hate food shopping, more so when I know I could be at the parks!!
Sorry I went on sabbatical...8 Days for us!! I'm beside myself with excitement!! Anyone use gardengrocer.com? Since this will be our first time using ME, we will obviously not have a car... It's not going to fully heal until I have surgery to remove the spur. The bad thing is, I have to have surgery. The good thing is that when Tony goes in, he'll actually makes small cuts in my plantar fascia. By doing that, it stretches the tendon and makes it less prone in inflammation. I haven't had any issues with my left foot since he did it three years ago.Oh no!!! I have had that a couple times before. Not fun at all! Praying it heals in time for SWW!

Thanks.I hope you feel better.
I have temporary inserts that are super squishy to get me through to my next appointment. We have to check with insurance on what is covered. I can't afford $400 for orthodics. He'll probably send me to WDW with another set of the temporary ones. If my insurance will pay for them, we'll cast permanent ones on the 21st. But they wouldn't be done in time for our trip.Oh no!! I hope you feel better!! Is there a special shoe insert or something to make it easier to walk?
I've heard excellent reviews!I went ahead and ordered from gardengrocer. They called to confirm my order that night and it was a real human being!! I'll report back after our trip and let you know how it goes... Other reviews looked pretty good, so I'm hopeful.
So...
I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot. I didn't catch it in time and have developed a stupid heel spur. It is little and pointy and aimed toward my toes on my heel bone.![]()
I have been trying to take care of it on my own for the last 5 weeks (since I've been through it before with my left foot). Two weeks of massaging, stretching, and ice rolling, two weeks of wrapping and immobilization and an additional week in my walking boot until I could get to the doctor.
I just got back from seeing him and yeah... it is about as bad as I thought it was.I got a shot in my foot and was sent home with a script for ibuprofen for the next two weeks. I'll go back for another shot 5 days before we leave for Disney.![]()
They want me to come on full time as a writer and photographer. Effective almost immediately.
They originally said after my vacation, but the owner wants the change to take affect on May 13.
I have to submit some of my writings by Friday.
I don't know. I'm not really sure what is going on as I haven't heard from the editor in a few days. I talked to my writer tonight and he's having a diva fit over his current hours. Two jobs is too much for him. I just smiled and blissfully thought back to the days when I ONLY had 2 jobs...This is good news, I hope. It sure sounds like great news to me.
Will you still have your vacation time?
PF is very uncomfortable. The spur is what hurts like heck! Gravel with a heel spur is a real hoot, let me tell ya...Sorry about your foot! I have heard that PF is very painful!!
Good news on the job though.![]()
