kwitcherkicken99 said:After much deliberation, I came to the conclusion that we cannot possibly see Hyperspace Hoopla and F! on our arrival night.
I need to knock out a few things on our first day, especially the things that happen later in the case the family peters out.
So, here's the NEW schedule:
5-26
[*]arrival day
[*]get to DHS around 3p
[*]Darth Mall for LE pins
[*]eat (booked 50sPT but may cancel - especially if they have the R2 kids power packs again this year)
[*]meet a character or two
[*]ride Star Tours
[*]line up for Hyperspace Hoopla
[*]go home
5-27
[*]RD at MK
[*]take the kids on their first ride on BTMR and Splash (for DD)
[*]BBB
[*]Flag retreat for Memorial Day
[*]CRT
[*]MSEP? Wishes?
5-28
[*]get to AK around 9:30/10a
[*]DS wants to ride EE
[*]Sanaa for dinner **requesting a window seat**
5-29
[*]back to MK
[*]CS all day
5-30
[*]"normal" DHS day
[*]DS thinks he wants to ride ToT and RnRc; DD thinks she wants to ride ToT
[*]MM with F! priority seating
5-31
[*]our ONLY EP day
[*]use DH's GM badge to ride TT over and over
[*]Soarin'
[*]MS for the boys
[*]DH's birthday dinner at Le Cellier
6-1
[*]SWW at DHS
[*]Characters and shows
6-2
[*]completely open
It should. They are supposed to ask for GM ID, but when I traveled with the kids and no DH, they accepted my insurance card since it had the GM information on it.Ooh!!!
Please tell me more about GM employees & TT
My DH is a GM (Holden) retiree
He has a card .... With the GM logo on it....
.... Could it be useful??
And thank you for all of the congratulations!
There is a minor setback as the owner of the company's mother passed away last night. I will wait to take the next step until she is ready to help me take the next step. All I can do now is push the business!

Finding the door is a WHOLE OTHER STORY!!!!
There is the main entrance and the exit/gift shop so many feet apart. As you walk toward the entrance from the gift shop, there is a row of bushes and a non-obtrusive gray door (that blends into the side of the building).
There should be a keypad thingy and camera by it. You have to be buzzed in after you hit the call button and tell them what you are there for.
I buzzed in, they let us in the outside door to an inner door where I had to produce my credentials. I can imagine they do it inside so people don't start queuing up at that door.
When we went to WDW during the "bailout" period, the lounge was closed, but WDW still honored GM employees with the special FP. We would sign in at the desk in the showroom (which is where I would check in if you have any questions on where to find "the door") and they would send us on. We just entered through the exit (which is also the way you used to be sent after 5p).
I'm pretty sure the lounge closes at 5p, but you can still use the FP AFAIK, just check at the desk.
Thank you VERY much
So glad I found this forum .... I've learnt SO much
Okay, I'm a couple days behind again...
We had family in town over the weekend and I came out of the weekend with a severe throat infection, on the verge of strep. So I get another day off of work. Doctor says I can return to work on Wednesday, which means I have a TWO day work week.
Anyway...
Day 70: (DS) Go to Magic Kingdum
Day 69: (DD) See Cinderella
Also, my BFF, E, her mom, and niece are currently on the Dream. I got a text from her saying that the ship was AMAZING and she had only walked about 10% of it. I can't wait to see pictures!
May 28th-June 4th here...........The planning is getting fun as the time is coming closer!!![]()
