May the Force be with who? A May 2013 PTR

Here is the Minnie dress idea:

I Frankensteined this together in Photoshop using the drawings from a Lizzie McGuire pattern I bought. I super-imposed the red Minnie fabric I just got, too. DD wants this same style of dress in the Tink and Cindy fabric too.

I'm almost packed for vacation... :scratchin

I officially have more sewing projects than time...

I got all the accent fabric for DD's Minnie dress, Tinkerbell dress, and Cinderella skirt (that will be identical to the Merida skirt in design). I'm tweaking the Tinkerbell dress. I'm using the same pattern as the Minnie dress, but the top of the dress will be a glittery green and the whole skirt will be the Tinkerbell fabric.

I also realized that the Merida skirt needed a top, so I have some gorgeous knit jersey that will go with it. So I have to make that now, too.

I found a pattern for DS's Avengers sleep pants. He also decided that there were two Star Wars prints that he likes, so he has asked for a button-down short-sleeve shirt and a pair of shorts.

I'm also changing up an idea that I had. I under-bought some Agent P fabric and I can't get it anymore... I was going to make him some pants, but I don't have enough. I was talking to E the other day and she said, "Why don't you make a drawstring backpack?"

GENIUS!!!

Being that the fabric is 100% cotton, it needed some oomph to hold up. I perused the clearance rack at JoAnn and found some waterproof taffeta. It's just stiff enough to keep the shape of the bag without being so rigid that it looks funny.

He's so excited. :)

Thats right folks, you heard it hear first. Proof that what I have been saying all these years is true...

I"M A GENIUS ::yes::

Grabbing the paper bag... ::breathing heavily::

191 days and we're still not booked! :faint:

Even more panicked... ADRs in 11 days!

I'm worried since two of the ADRs we want to make are CRT and Le Cellier. I'm afraid that we may not get our exact dates and have to change our meals around...

On a different note...

I wanted to come here and leave a post to tell you all how awesome my friend Jenn is. Not only did she not hesitate to sell me, out of her own secret stash and at a good price, trader pins for Adam and my honeymoon in a few short days. On top of getting them here in a super speedy fashion.

I thought you all needed to know how much I love her and think she is the bestest friend EVER!!yes I know that it is not a word but is teh only one I can think of this early to describe her awesomness :thumbsup2

:lovestruc

Luv ya man!! Thanks for helping fill our trip with pixiedust:

I agree, if make the ADRs first. True you may have to change things around a bit, but better to try to have something and need to change it than to not have anything.:goodvibes

Aw shucks!!!!

And IIRC... you signed my Costa Rica book, "Bestest FRED ever".

:teeth:

What to do... what to do... with the ADRs.

I've never called to cancel an ADR. Ever.

I wouldn't even know where to begin.

kwitch - just book for when you think you're going to go. If you change your dates later, then just ring the 1800 number and they will remove the ADR.

It is easier to cancel an ADR than try to get it later.

COMPLETELY stressed out right now!!!!

I have checked DAILY for room reservations through RCI and there hasn't been a SINGLE DVC rental. At all...

Come to find out, someone on Touring Plans said that RCI is merging with Wyndham and that may be shutting down the crossover to DVC.
