May the 4th Be with you

i know may the 4th be with you is different from star wars weekends but I want to know what is the difference? Are all the "activities" different? Is there a Star Wars parade? Character meet and greets? I'd like to know how past "May the 4th Be With You" days went

We have FPP for HS on this day, so I am likewise interested. Even if they have no special events scheduled, I'd like to know if many people come in costume. It might be worth it for that.

Nothing yet. Last year there were only special t-shirts, a dance party and some characters.

The year before, it was limited time magic with t-shirts, pins, family JTA, fireworks, etc.

So it's just a wait and see if there will be anything this year.

I am also curious about this. I was planning on doing AK during the day and MK in the evening but am willing to change up my plans if there is something worth while going on.

I hope they do firework show & characters this day, I would think because the movie is coming out this year they'd have something special. Fingers crossed we get an exclusive sneak peek of the force unleashed (high hopes,I know). I guess it's just a wait and see, either way I'll be there!

My family and I are not huge star wars fans - so never even thought of this. Just realizing that we have a Fantasmic package booked the evening of May 4th. I hope that the park isn't super crowded!

They had a little show thing on the stage last year where they gave out a few cool prizes, it was very unfair in how they gave out stuff and random. It was a CM in a chewie hoodie and 2 ewoks. They had special tshirts and pins for May the 4th and Revenge of the 5th. Characters were out, but they stopped in the afternoon as we saw their lines getting cutting off when we arrived. Pins were all gone when we arrived in the afternoon but they had tshirts left.

That link above says from 2013 so I wouldn't count on Fireworks as they didn't last year. I haven't seen a new posting this year yet, but you never know I guess till that day what they'll do.

I just saw the 2013 Sorry for the false hope y'all. I'm still hopeful they'll do something special because it's the year the movie comes out. *fingers crossed*

We have reservations for Hollywood & Dine with Star Wars characters (and Fantasmic passes!) on May 4, and the significance of the date didn't even occur to me until I read this! I just thought it was the day that Star Wars stuff started.

We have the breakfast, but seriously considering cancelling. We did it last year and loved it though.
