May not use Orbitz for next trip, in light of their changes to promo codes

Even though I know that you can get a good deal with stacking Disney's discounts and Orbitz promo codes, I think I may not use this route next time we go. With Orbitz capping the limit of a discount at $150, that just rubs me the wrong way. Now normally I would not receive over the $150 discount staying at a moderate or value, but on our next trip I am pretty sure I will stay at a deluxe, therefore would get nixed the whole 15%.

So I think I will more than likely go with that "Special Travel Agency" once again for this next trip, unless my husband racks up some Orbitz bucks that is.

Yeah, that's too bad. I just used a 15% one but I was only booking 4 nights at a moderate for W&D race weekend so I didn't reach the max. But I used a 15% one last year for our trip to AKL and definitely got more than $150 back from that.

Just book 2 reservations. that is what I did. Otherwise Travelocity has 14% with no cap

Travelocity might just be an option. They don't have the cap, as of yet. Yes, you can split it up. That is true, but I am really irked with Orbitz now and I rather just use another agency, maybe Travelocity, maybe not.

Orbitz is about to be purchased by Expedia so you may not want to go with Expedia.

I can't figure out how to get the 14% code to work ... says it is against the terms & conditions. I can get 13%, which is better than the Orbitz cap, but still ... LOL

that's where I found it, as well. when I enter the code, it says not valid. it worked the other week when I was price checking ... so I'm not sure what's up. it's only $12 difference in the 2 codes, but it's the principle of it all, darn it! LOL!
