Well up early, just checked and no room assignment still.
The waiting is a killer, I just want my number pleassseeeeeeeeee.
For the theories
2nd Disney cruise
No excursions booked .
Palo dinner booked.
No Spa ressies.

T/A also booked for this september, in a cat 6.
Anyone else with no cabin number, booked for any more cruises in Europe ?

Same here, no room assigment yet. The suspense is killing me .

I saw Palo diner available for 2 people. The only choice is on 3rd night (Malta) at 9 PM (to late for us)

Booked a Cat 12, however just found out we have been given a Cat 6 with Verandah. I had one of these a couple of years back on the Wonder and it was fantastic.

Not sure what hours they work in the States, only found out about the upgrade this morning when I switch on my PC

I’m one of those badly placed accordingly to of all the theories I have seen:

Second DCL cruise.
Neither excursion nor palo reservation.
Booked beginning of December 2009 with Dreams Unlimited.

Like my wife say, we’ll certainly receive a category 12 room

For information purposes:

We booked through Iglu Cruises (UK) in January 2010
Paid £775 per adult with kids sail free promotion
Got our Cabin Assignment at approx 9.30pm GMT last night
First DCL Cruise (or any cruise for that matter)
Booking made in my BF name - surname begins with a C

We have not booked any DCL Excursions or Spa appointments
Have 1No Palo evening meal booked only

Im sure we would all love to know how the upgrades are organised but there certainly doesn't seem to be any logic in it!

All I know is I am so happy & pleased for everyone else who has received fantastic upgrades!

We have one Palo Reservation
No excursions as yet as we are waiting to see how the kids get on with the kids club, but will book some soon!

What time do they start assigning rooms again, I must stop logging in to check!!! maybe they can't get into mine because I'm always there!!

As yet, we haven't received a cabin assignment. Seems like there is no rhyme or reason to the cabin assignments at all.

This surely cant be my room number, ive looked up 5640 and it has a veranda !!!????????????

Yes, it will always say the category that you booked, in your -and my- case, cat 12 GTY. Congrats!

I am sooooooooooo happy & amazed at the same time, like eveyone I was hoping for a porthole cat 9 for some daylight in the room , but to get a veranda is beyond belief !! I hope its not a mistake !!!!!

For the peep trying to understand the room allocations my details are as follows ;

first cruise
booked Dec 2009 with Dreams Unlimited
booked Palo
booked one port adventure

my guess though is that ive been VERY lucky and also we are a party of just 3 , this room has a max occupancy of 3

Hope this helps with the analysis & fingers crossed for those waiting for room numbers today !!

WOWWEEEE!!!!! I am SO HAPPY for you guys!! Great news on all the upgrades!

Nothing for me, but I didn't expect anything, as I picked our room. I do however agree about being upset about spending $$$ and not getting upgraded. Not mad enough to cancel though. 'Dems the breaks! You roll the dice sometimes you win, sometimes you get exactly what you paid for. Happy that our friends got upgraded and are in the room across from us. They were a cat 12 and are now on the 6th floor with an inside room. Too bad they didn't get a veranda.

Oh well, off to France and wine country to drink away my sorrows tomorrow!

Still nothing here! The suspense is killing me! I actually woke up at 2:30 this morning after dreaming that I'd been assigned to the first level of the ship. I had to get up to double check to make sure it didn't really happen! LOL

Whee! I woke up this morning and still have a Cat 6 cabin assignment! It wasn't just a happy dream! Congrats to those who got assignments since last night, and fingers & toes crossed for the rest of you; I hope they start up the assignments again *SOONEST!!!!*

I wonder how many of the people who haven't been assigned yet aren't in the US? And how many who *have* been assinged aren't in the US? I noticed a lot of the people saying they haven't been assigned yet today are in the UK... But I have to run to work, so I don't have time to go back & count...
