I received my room assignment, room #2072, deck 2, category 9.

Well situated and with a porthole, it looks like really fine :yay:

Thanks DCL :worship:

Finally...
Got #6139. Category 11. Was wishing for a window, but I am happy :cool1:

Finally got mine too 5139 cat.11. Would have like a window at least, but pleased we are still on the cruise.

We finally got ours too. #6015 a cat. 11. I was really, really hoping for at least a window, especially after seeing all the awesome upgrades on this board, but oh well.

JoeUK is back there too. It's a short walk up a few flights of stairs to Topsiders. We had room 6635 in 2007 and that's the path we took. The "secret" deck 7 aft verandah is just one short flight of steps up too. Nice place to visit. 95% of the guests on the ship don't know it exists.

cat 12-cat 11 deck 5...wanted something bigger but at least it is in the aft (our favorite area) and on a higher deck :).

Just checking Palo dinner reservations and there was one opening for a party of 1-2 on Valletta, Malta night at 9 pm.

Awesome, will have to check out the "secret" deck. Will you also add that we are 'late seating' to the roll call on the website? Thanks so much :cool2:

I'd guess that DCL isn't fond of cruise discussion boards at times like this because if they didn't exist, those with upgrades would be happy and those that received what they booked would be happy.

The think you are correct DCL must hate message boards :)

I was hoping for an upgrade to my parents room, but I really have no right to complain. They are in a cat 10 but on deck 7, in a non-connecting room away from the elevators.

My room I have what I want and did not pay cash only DVC points

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:To everyone with upgrade and finally got their room assignments!!!!!

Hope to see some of you on the cruise:)

Just looked.....we were upgraded to category 9 Rooms 2556 & 2558!! Only one thing that concerns me....the video area for kids is right across the hall. Since I've never been on a disney cruise before, should this concern me at all? Thanks, Anne

Also, another question....was there a place to see what other's who have been in the room have said about it? How do I get to that? Thanks, Anne

Done, as well as updated some of the other staterooms assigned today. I'm going to go back through the thread one more time tonight to pick up the things I've missed and any new people that have recently joined. If you're not on the roll call and/or FE list and should be - it's not personal - we're really trying to keep up!:crazy2::jumping1:

trying really hard to keep up :surfweb::sick::scared1:

We've had ours - a Cat 9 on deck 2. #2076 so close by to some other Disers

Not sailed with aporthole before (either onDCL or other lines) so that should be fun. I'm still deciding whether to try for an upgrade to verandah at port (will probably ask anyway) :rotfl2:

pixie dust to those still without rooms - but so far it seems that no-one is in an actual cat 12.

We were allocated room 5629 - Deck 5, Cat 11 at the rear of the ship.
