May Med Magic - May 15 2010 - Meet thread

No we didn't but we had some long-time Disney friends on board and they were posting their experiences during the cruise. I was also following some blogs by others and recall them posting about the terrible weather and sea states.

I've noticed on some of the other Med cruises that they have booked group brunches at Palo. Palo has a private dining area that holds 14 people. Is anyone here interested in trying to book one of these?

Keep in mind that if we did get the Private Palo brunch, if you have made another Palo brunch reservation, that other reservation will cancel out. DCL will contact me 25-30 days prior to sail date. Their rule is that you can only have one Palo brunch, one high tea and one dinner per cruise pre-booked.

I would be interested in the group Palo Brunch. I have been unable to get ressies for brunch.

Sign me up too. We weren't able to reserve for a brunch, so if we can have a group brunch, that will be wonderful. I just need to book nursery for Rachel.

I would love a Palo Brunch. Sign me up! Since I'm a solo adult, I didn't bother signing up for dinner.

I have brunch ressies already but I'm in if you can get the private room. I'm sure Sayhello (who is "crashing" my ressie) will be interested too.

We'd most definitely be interested.

Got back from a fabulous day of skiing. Keeping my fingers crossed that the forecast is wrong about the 120-150 mph gusts across the Sierra Ridges. Hope everyone's having a great weekend.

Frank and I would definitely be interested in a group brunch at Palo. We weren't able to get reservations either.:confused3

We would love to have brunch at Palo with all of you! We weren't able to get reservations either. If you have room for all 4 of us, it would be great. Anne

Bill & I would like to join a Palo Group Brunch - maybe we could get two dates since I think we'll have a lot of takers.

Also interested in a private wine tasting.

Waiting anxiously for room assignments!!!

Signing out from Toledo, Ohio

If you have room then Cristy and I would love to be included. We missed booking Palo due to indecision. :confused3

By my count that would be 24 people so far so I will ask if we can do two bookings. :thumbsup2

Also, in case this doesn't work out (if the room has been previously booked by another party) remember that DCL holds back some (believed to be 50%) of the Palo reservations for booking on the ship itself. Go there first thing after you board to sign up for dinner, brunch and/or tea. In 2007 it was done in Palo itself. On the caribbean cruises it's been done in Rock'n Bar D.

Edit: For those that want to do this, please email me or PM me your last name and reservation number. DO NOT post it in the thread.

If there's room, we'd love to join you as well...we couldn't get a rez either.

Thanks!
