My guess is that will be out around the 20th of February. That is around when they were released the last couple of years. Jay

My ressies are already made. Is it difficult to apply the codes? If you have a package can you still apply the codes?

I wanted codes before, now I NEED them - Just did our taxes and we owe the gov. $4,600 :earseek: I about fell off my chair. First thing my DH said was, "Well, I guess you'll be on DIS night AND day now... :sad2: Come On Codes!!!!!

Oh My! I can't imagine! Well at least it sounds like you still get to go on vacation anyways. If this happened with our taxes we would be 'grounded' for at least a year! We just sent ours in and we have a refund coming, so at least we don't have to worry about that.

Actually last year it was March 9th and the year before it was later than that. Where did you get Feb. 20th?

STOP, STOP! Your breaking my heart. I don't know how much longer I can wait. I thought something would come out in January, now February......I don't know how much mor disappointment I can take. :guilty:

As it turns out, we are not going anywhere for spring break. The last two years we've been on, or getting ready to leave for, spring break at about the time the summer codes came out. This year I'll be on ethe phone to Disney instead!

Hi:

Does anyone remember how much the moderates were with a code last year in may/june.

Thanks,

Deb.

My God 320.00 a night to sleep!! Is it worth it? Id rather buy myself something.

I agree, LauraAnn! I had never stayed at a Value resort before this past September, and now that I have, I don't know why we ever paid so much money at the other places. Since it's just the 2 of us adults, the space in the room is fine, and we don't mind being on the busses. I would MUCH rather pay $55/night (special 5+2 deal last fall) and spend the other money on fun stuff! Plus, we stayed at POP and the theming is AWESOME! I really felt more immersed in Disney for my entire stay than I had at the other places we've stayed. I have stayed at the Deluxes, and IMO it's not really THAT much of a difference to be worth charging $250 more a night.

Cottontail, we paid just under $100 per night last June at Coronado Springs with a Disney VISA code last year. That price was including tax. I'd love for something like that again!

Last Feb. the discounts for Disney Visa card holders came out. The general public codes didn't come out until March. If I remember correctly, we were all terribly anxious and convinced that no codes would be released then too!

I feel absolutely ridiculous for spending so much time obsessing about this! But.....our potential May trip was just sort of a wild idea so if we don't get a discount on a room, we probably won't go at this time.

And....I REALLY want to go!!! Here's hoping!

If you can get a Mod for $89 a night, those are pretty nice. I have stayed at the value resorts and they are fine too, but I do see why the Moderates may be more appealing than the Value resorts. But the Deluxes are way too pricey (although we are DVC members, so we do stay at Deluxe when I am not out of points).

This is what I have for AP codes last year.... :cool1:

WDW Annual Passholders can get special discounted rates for check-ins 4/18/04-7/4/04. So far the following rate has been reported:
• Value Resorts - $59
• Moderates - $74 standard, $89 preferred
• Ft. Wilderness Cabin - $155
• Animal Kingdom Lodge - $124 standard, $145 pool view, $200 savannah view, $365 concierge
• Wilderness Lodge - $124 standard, $139 woods view, $175 courtyard view
• Contemporary - $149 standard view garden wing
• Beach/Yacht Club - $214 standard, $280 water view
• Polynesian - $229 garden view, $315 lagoon view
• Grand Floridian - $340 lagoon view

memorymakers - Codes for Disney Visa customers were released starting February 20th according to mousesavers.com. That is what I remember because we were booking for a trip in May. I believe that the March 9th release were codes for anyone. Jay

General codes for 4/18/04 to 7/4/04 were also released on 3/9 last year. This is from my notes:
• Value Resorts - $74 standard, $84 preferred view
• Moderates - $94 standard, $109 preferred view
• Wilderness Lodge - $139 standard, $154 woods view
• Animal Kingdom Lodge - $139 standard
• Boardwalk, Beach/Yacht Club - $229 standard
• Polynesian - $244 garden view, $340 garden view concierge
• Other resorts, room types and views should be available at varying prices!
