May hours watch thread!

Count me in too! I have some PS arrangements to make as well, but I would like to know the park hours and times for fireworks for sure before I go ahead.

I waiting... Wouldn't be nice to have the hours out when you need to have PS 90 days in advance. This would sure help in the planning stages as to what park to go to on what day. Anyone agree?

I'll be there for 16 days and have alot of PS to make. We are there April 29-May14th. I am in no hurry to make my PS though. I made my PS for my January trip 3 weeks before leaving and still had to change them twice because the hours changed and the EMH hours changed several times within the last couple of weeks. Now with the first week of May being a very active time, PS will be needed, but not sure how the festivities will impact the EMH hours.

They've been consistently coming out 60 days prior, so May should come out March 1.

Exactly right! You can, however, get "projected" hours.

I'm going the 11th -21st! Can't wait! All the press should be done by then.

You can get projected hours now on wdwinfo.com. But you cannot count on them for anything. Last December they had MK projected closing at 6:00pm the first 2 Saturdays. MK never closes that early on Saturdays in December, that's the night of the week they stay open the latest. Turned out to be midnight.

I have 6 newbies going with me and I need to show them a schedule! We need to plan!!!! WE are going April 30- May 7 and need those times and the early hours and such to tell the little ones where we will go first! Where is the extra pixie dust that gives us May's hours early!!!! My computer fast pass machine is not working and ate my annual pass! Oh wait that was the DVD slot!

Okay...I'm new to this site and new to the whole Disney thing (never been). I'm a little clueless about "May hours". Why do we need to know May hours? I'll be staying at AKL from May 28 through June 1. I've learned that I should make PS's for any dinners we want, but that's all. Sorry for being so ignorant.

The only hours that really vary is Magic Kingdom. The other parks you can pretty much guess they will be about the same as last year and are pretty consistent day to day. MK on the other hand has different hours through the week and only run Spectromagic & Wishes on selected nights. The Extra Magic Hours is new this year.
