Hi

We're thinking about doing a last minute trip to WDW.
I am going to call MS tomorrow, but does anyone know how hard it is to get ressies for early to mid may this late in the year? Will there even be anything available? Just hoping.

May seems to be pretty full...I've had to check for a ton of dates in May and it is pretty tough to get much...Member Homecoming is at the end of May so that has definitely had an impact. Worth a try though...good luck!

Normally May is a slow month, but since you waited too long the public has a right to make reservations now, so you may be out of luck. At any rate January, May, September are very slow months for DVC and the whole of WDW.

We've stayed at OKW the first or second week of May the past 4 years, it's usually pretty quiet. You may find availability there.

We did it!

Called this morning, was able to get reservations for may 1 thru 5 at OKW, may 6 and 7 at VB then back to OKW for may 9-13.
I also got (through priceline) 162 rountrip from LAX to Tampa per person. Only since becoming a DVC member have we been able to take these last minute trips to WDW and save a bundle!

Now I just have to set up this countdown timer thing.

My Dh called today and he said there was nothing available...we wound up getting a 1 br at WLV. We are planning to go the 15-19...So, maybe the dates you want will be available...
