down to minutes huh? I'm just hoping work will pass by, and hoping I don't forget my brain book today. Forgot it yesterday. I tried to get pictures of the shuttle, but it was a crappy launch because it was so cloudy, we only saw it for a few seconds before it dissappeared into the clouds. Some are pretty, and then there's the ones like yesterday. But, it never gets old!!! Maybe this weekend I can get into counting hours and stuff, but all ya'll will already be there!!!! I'm busy this weekend, so that helps. Happy last couple of days!!!

I try not to look at the clock too much but with this countdown clock on my desktop it is hard not too............... I want to see the shuttle so bad. I hated that we were gonna miss it by a few days. Had I know Amanda and "smoochie pooh" would be done with classes LAST Thursday we would have been there yesterday . This will be better anyway I was sick so now that I am better I am sooooooooooo ready to get to Disney. Dale thinks he has Memorial Day off so I am trying to squeeze another day into the trip . <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<ME.

sounds like you have a great trip planned...I'm so jealous everyone seems to be leaving in the next week... ya'll will all be back when I leave (somehow managed to go over the Memorial Day holiday--school).
Your dog Niko looks just like my Brownie and seems to act like her, too! She was strictly a house dog (never went out) until Ashton was born; she now lives in the garage and in the day in the pool yard (to unstable to have around a baby--she is my baby and very jealous)

and for reading. You don't have that much time to wait either. We were there on Memorial Day in 2002 it wasn't crowded at all but then again it was just after 9/11.

Niko is our baby too. If he knows you he is the most loving dog you could have around but if he doesn't look out. Well I say that and he still hates Amanda's boyfriend and they have been dating for over a year now. Goes to show the dog has good taste........... Niko is kennel bound today because I am keeping my great nephew.

I hope I can but it would have to be off property in a cheap hotel............lol. I don't think Dale is gonna fall for it since we are going back in Sept.

I know what you mean about time going slow. I swear it has stopped. I feel like I have been at 3 days for a week now..............

Babysitting is coming to an end in a few minutes. My niece got off work at 3PM and it takes about 20 minutes to get from where she works to my house. She works at Dreamland BBQ and I sure wish she would bring me some ribs...........

I am dancing like a crazy woman. I got my Le Cellier ADR . I got it for Thursday May 21 at 2:40pm. The wonderful CM said they didn't have a table for 2 but if I could get someone else to join us she did have a table for 3 or 4 "Hey, I can handle that". I am so excited now I am beside myself. Now, I have to decide if we still want to do the GF Café on Wednesday night or not. That can be canceled without a problem.

I have been trying for a week to get in and the only CM that bothered to tell me it would be easier to get a table for 3 or 4 was the lady I talked to today. She was ultra friendly and very helpful. I can't wait to try the cheddar soup. I am really glad we got lunch because Dale is such a picky eater as long as a hamburger is on the menu I am in............

we will be at AK on the 24th that is a def because of my girlfriend is joining us... still not exactly sure about Memorial Day...thinking HS or EP because of crowds... I need to redo my trip planning... now that we are going to a townhouse and Universal first...
But, I would love to meet up either Sun at AK or after AK closes (since it closes so early) or Monday. tell you what I was just doing short reads and post at the moment I will look again tomorrow at your plans and mine and will def PM you.

We are leaving on the 23rd. Really you and I could plan a meet a Gulf Port or Pascagoula............lol................We do live that close that we could drive 45 minutes each and meet up.

OK, I do have to concede, like at the battle of NO, you do live in a COOL city. I love NO. I did both honeymoons there............lmao. I miss the old NO. It was more than Disney could ever be because it was TRUE magic. The air at the Market, going to Jax Brewery, the Square, OMG going out on the President. There is NOOOOOOOOOO place like NO and I miss the magic. Tell me it is back.

as for NO... Danny hates it--I love it! He drove me through it Christmas before last and we went to Fulton St for Christmas this year and the Riverwalk; wanted to go to Cafe'Dumonde but Danny and my Dad didn't want to(now my Dad loves the FQ)... the Frenchmarket just reopened two weeks ago...I am planning a girls weekend in the fall... was to suppose to do it this spring but soooo much has happened between me and BFF that we postponed it.
We moved to the northshore 11 yrs ago to get away from the crime and the public schools we are both from Jefferson Parish...but as teenagers and young adults we "lived" in New Orleans--it is the magic city of youth and partying...

I love the ambience, the musems (spell), not really into Burbon "anymore"; but still love Pat O's and court of Two Sisters...
could go on and on...
Danny and I love to go to the Gulf Coast (biloxi for quick get aways or just the day)

I loved Bourbon Street, just because. I have 3 masks looking at me right now that were bought at the French market. They are very special to me. I have "Comedy and Tragedy" and just a mask. Last date is 1986 so that says alot about the last time I was in the Market.

Ohhh!!! well YES it is a very different place...
the murders have moved into the French Quarter, now...that had always been a safe zone you only had to worry about pick pockets...
one nice thing is it does not smell like p--- and vomit
they call it Disney street cleaning, they spray a citrus sanitzer and sweep the streets daily, now
I don't think people should stop going though...it still has the old world charm that it always had...you can't escape the history, charm, black magic ...
I can't wait to go back to the aquarium and the new bug place that just opened...
