May am I too late for a discount fare?

Am I too late for a decent airfare from Philly or AC to Disney ? I have been looking at all the carriers from both airports. I haven't gotten better than $240 for a non stop. I didn't think it was too late to get a decent rate but I usually pay about 150-180 round trip from AC. Has the airfare gone up that much since last year? Is it the date of travel?

SWA recently raised its prices $10 each way on flights over 600 miles. That would include the Philly to Orlando run.
We will be in Disney from May 9- 25. I booked our flight down back in December for $69. When the rest of the dates opened for May, the cheapest flight back I could get was $117. Several of the flights back on the 25th are already sold out at the cheaper prices because of the hoilday weekend. I booked at the $117 price with the hope that there will be a sale later on. I'll rebook then and get a SWA credit for our next trip.
BTW DisneyDenise...We're neighbors. I live in Mount Laurel too.

Jiminy14 What a small world. I haven't had any luck with cheap airfare. i guess this trip is going to cost me more than I would like but I am going with mysister and her children and they are very excited for their first trip.

What dates are you traveling? we're going May 13-19th.

We are going to drive down to BWI...we just booked on Friday for 5 people on air tran...$931.36 total! I think that's pretty decent. The same flight out of Philly was around $1100. My parents live in Oxford (southern chester county) so we're gonna stay there the night before our flights and they are going to drive us to BWI and pick us up which is wonderful! Go to airtran's site...that's how we booked ours..$82 tickets going down and $86 tickets coming back.

You may be to late for the airtran sale. On Friday they had $27 from Philly.
