I just read a cruise report from a guy who has been on several Disney cruises and just returned from a 7 day western one. He made a rather interesting observation worth sharing while we are on the subject of FOOD (again)!! He said they served lobster at
Castaway Cay (instead of barbeque) evidently because it was left over from the Captain's Gala the night before!
Imagine with me for a moment - a light warm tropical wind blowing in off the water - steaming lobster and melted butter - no cell phones - no income taxes - no 27 year old DD hitting you up for tuition (she's cramming 4 years into 8 at her fifth different college! I think she is majoring in "undecided") - and nothing to do but to turn yourself INTO a "lobster" all day long! Sure beats snow, pollen, and cutting grass!
I just got a note from a friend who said for us to enjoy our cruise, and if we should run short of money, just to contact him - and he'd hock our furniture. What a guy!
Just a little secret to those of us who plan to OD on food. The last cruise DW and I went on we actually LOST WEIGHT. The secret?? Don't EVER use the elevators! You'll get "around" quicker and you won't get as "round"! (I had a friend who said he lost 110 lbs in one day! He got a divorce!!)
Ya'll get packing! Mine's been packed since October! (Don't tell my DW. She thinks she found all my bags already!! BTY the surplus population of chocolate bunnies is down 2 more over the weekend :^)
Later all!
Chris
Oops~ She just read my post and there goes my bag (not referring to her of course!!!!) Gotta move the PC so she can't read my posts!
