May 5, 2012 Fantasy

I just checked my online reservation (3rd time today!) and I finally have my stateroom! I had booked a category 9D GTY...

We were upgraded to a category 5C Deluxe Oceanview w/Verandah!:banana::banana:

We are even more pumped than before! Only 45 days to go!

Hi! I would like to sign my family up for the FE!! Do I post that info here or do I need to PM someone?! Here is my info:

Cabin #7552
Brent & Becky
my 2 daughters Ally (age 7) and Claire (age 4)

Thanks to Milliepie on the DISigns forum, I requested these for making magnets (or whatever). Just please remember, these can NOT be sold under ANY circumstance! We love to decorate our door with magnets, so this will be added to the collection.

Thank you for requesting these, and for sharing the link :thumbsup2 I was going to "get around" to asking myself, but didn't.

No upgrade for us at this point, but that's OK--I really want to see the virtual porthole. DD would prefer to see real air outside, so we're OK either way.

And I realized something IMPORTANT. The ship departs on derby day. I will be out of town. You have to live in Louisville to realize that derby day is like a federal holiday. Seriously, the schools close the day before and no work gets done for at least the whole week before. I'm not a native, so I laugh at the whole thing. The parking lot at the airport will be unreal--no problem, we're getting dropped off. I just LOVE to be out of town when this madness hits.:goodvibes And even better than just out of town is to be in "Fantasy."

Mickey's Magical Express luggage tags for our pre-WDW stay! That mail always make it seem "real" somehow :)))

Epcot magic hours until midnight Friday night before embarkation! I may actually get on Soarin after 3 years of trying~!

I am not very good at using the boards. A novice. Is it too late to join the Fish ears?
My husband and are are traveling (no kids) and in Cabin 8570.
Let me know how to participate.

Thanks!

How many people should we bring fish ears gifts for?

And how can you sign up for the room tours?

I can't wait for vacation!

We will be at Old Key West a week before the cruise. Anyone else staying there? Can't waiit to see the new ship!

This should bring me to 10 posts!

You already are on the list. Please check back on the 31st on page 24 for the final groupings.

My DD turns 5 exactly a week before we set sail and is really looking forward to going to the kids club and having some friends to play with!:cheer2:

Kim

Us too!! Matt turns 4 on April 2nd......let's be honest- friends in the kids clubs makes it easier to enjoy some adult time with some favorite adult beverages!

Anyone get their cruise docs yet? Should we be looking for them soon?

Not yet, but I'm ready!! :goodvibes All the Fantasy reviews are keeping me somewhat sane - looking forward to MV reviews from this coming Saturday's departure. We have friends on that sailing - hoping they come back with some good comparisons to the Dream. :woohoo:

It is still a little early for cruise docs if you are doing a "cruise only" vacation. Look for them at about 30 days before embarkation.

We're slowly cranking thru the "must do" before vacation stuff. A sweet prof has approved DD missing the first day of summer classes (if you miss the first day they can cancel your registration in addition for docking you for the miss IF they allow you to continue). Dentist appointments done, driver's license renewed, and.....drum roll, please...my "Important stuff" bag is sitting on the dining room table with things slowly being added. Prescription drugs to small travel sized containers from pharmacy, passports in. A small pile is accumulating in the bedroom--I should just get out the suitcase and make it official.:goodvibes

Wow, you start early! I am still trying to get my taxes done.

Will we get to meet you on the cruise? Or do you go incognito?
