Our cruise is paid off :banana::banana: Now the next three months need to go fast...

Us too - paid ours off yesterday! :cool1: :cool1: We get to book our excursions next Sunday. Are there any gold/platinum members that have got theirs booked already??

I have a question about online check in.

I know that we can book Palo, excursions, etc. at midnight and then do the actual online check in at 3:00am. I am planning to stay up to do the Palo and such, and I was going to get up again at 3 to do the online check in but DH has volunteered to do it for me. He is currently deployed and therefor 8 hours ahead so it will be a normal time of day for him. :thumbsup2

Can someone give me step by step directions to send to him, please. It's been 3 years since I've done this, and at that time we didn't have to choose a boarding time or anything. We will be staying at a hotel by the port so we would like to get as early of a boarding time as possible since we will likely all be jumping out of our skin, LOL!

I don't remember step by step, but it was pretty straightforward and there is just a drop down menu to choose your check in time at port. They become unavailable as they fill up, so it's easy to see what the earliest available is. We were on a completely full July 5th sailing on the Dream last year, and I checked in about 7 am and could easily have got an early arrival time. Of course he'll need your DCL confirmation # etc. I know I had to print out forms, but if I remember correctly, I went back in later and did that.

IMO it's much harder to book all the excursions etc. :surfweb: I just went in today to edit my saved ones so that I only have the ones we are going to book to make it easier, and it kept kicking me out of my logged in status - it did that to me a bunch of times when I was trying to make all my ressies last year...very frustrating!! :headache:

Sorry to not be more help, maybe someone else has a better memory than me! ;)

I'm wondering how I figure out what activities will be going on each day.
I'd like to be able to plan our activities/reservations around the formal night, pirate party - that kind of stuff.
Can one of our experienced cruisers point me in the right direction??

Thanks!!

Yepper!!!!:cool1::cool1:

We were able to book at 120 days - luckily got Cabana #4, Palo dinner on the 2nd sea day and Palo brunch on the last sea day. We signed up for the St. John Island tour (St.Thomas) and we went directly through Bernard Tours for a private tour on St. Maarteen.

I't about three months until we set sail!!!!:banana: Can't wait!!!

Mandy - you might want to try to find some current Eastern navigators - if you do a search you should come up with something, that will at least give you a start. There may also be others on here that are more familiar with how the new schedule might look, but I would think the basics (pirates night, formal night etc) will stay the same. Shows will change though. :thumbsup2 Good luck, let us know if you can't find anything.

Mike - we are signed up for the Bernard's tour on St. Martin also :thumbsup2 Congrats on snagging the cabana and Palo brunch.

Patiently waiting for midnight EST on Sunday to be able to book ours. :yay: We want to do the all day snorkling St John/St Thomas, a couples massage onboard, and I'd love to get a Palo brunch if we can, but I know they are really hard to get so won't be devastated if we can't.

We're signed up for Bernard's on St Maarten also! And hoping to get the St John Island Tour when we can book Saturday night.

I'm crossing my fingers to be able to get Palo brunch and maybe tea also, we'll see how that goes.

Now we just need a time machine to get to our cruise faster! :woohoo:

Just wondering......do we have a list for the fish extender event (is that what you call it:confused3)........also is it just for kids (I was under the impression that it was) - if not then no big deal but I better get busy searching the site for FE ideas for adults/kids.

I also need to update our room number - we were able secure #12006 - when it opened up on Friday - looks like a great location! It's still just my wife (Kate) and I (Mike) and our 4-year old son Matt.

Take at look at this post which was the latest FE list. I believe it's for adults & kids. Cool room! :goodvibes

Just joining the "Paid In Full Club"!!:thumbsup2 Kept that money in my own account for as long as I could, LOL!

Now anxiously awaiting Sunday!! I decided that I just can't relinquish control and let DH do the online check-in. I'll just stay up 'til midnight and get done what I can, then nap for a couple hours and get back up to do the check-in.

I just got off the Dream in Jan. As far as FE's go, to keep it to a minimum, I would say do 1 per stateroom. If people want to do more than that, they are welcome. Kids always like candy (ok adults to) so those are easy things you can just throw in the FE. I know what worked well for me was making magnets . They were not very bulky and it was one per stateroom. Just throwing out some ideas... I am open to it all. :rotfl:

Funny :lmao: I wouldn't be able to let go of the control either...is that bad? :rolleyes1

Fingers crossed we can all get the bookings that we want  We transferred our onboard reservation to a travel agent, so I need to make sure that DCL has received payment from them. That's why I paid a little early, just to make sure there weren't any glitches.

We too are paid in full, and are anxiously awaiting the 5th.:surfweb: Any DCL excursion recommendations for St. Martin?

I would go with www.bernardstours.com - there are LOTS of reviews and all of them seem very positive and economical. We have a "private" tour with him scheduled for five of us - giving us the flexibilty to go where we want when we want.
