On another note, I'm just wondering....... who is leaving first? I realize that slowly we are going to lose members of the thread as the cruise gets closer, who leaves home first? We don't leave until after work at 4 pm on May 2.
We are leaving May 2 about 11:00.
We are leaving MD next Wednesday morning, 4/30. We'll be arriving at the Country Inns & Suites the evening of 5/2.
Have a safe trip driving to the port! If we had the time I wouldn't mind driving you can see more that way.
DW's reaction to my post

.
But, who else has the late diner seating. She would like to sit with some else for diner. Just kidding we still

each other. We'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary on May 2nd. Hence the trip.
We are celebrating our 15/16 year anniversary. I booked the cruise the week of our 15th anniversary and now we're almost at our 16th anniversary.
I have a question about the fish extenders. I already made tags to put on everyone's goodies. I don't mind taking them off but I think it would be fun to know who got what (escpecially if someone got something from their state/country).
If we say they came from the "fish fairy", how do we explain that to our kids who deliver who will be with us when we deliver the goodies? Won't they be a little confused?

Maybe I'm looking into a little too deep but I can just see my older one asking about the fish fairy!
I agree even though we are not participating. Kids are pretty smart and it would be neat to learn about the different states since we aren't exposed this closely to people from different areas that often. When you go on a regular land vacation you don't really meet anyone or hang out with them for an extended period of time.
I can't believe you all are packing so soon. I won't even get the suitcases out till next Sunday. I am gathering items to pack though. I still have more shopping to do.
That excited feeling is starting to show up in my tummy. I just can't believe that all this anticipation is finally coming to fruition next week. I am so afraid of the post cruise depression and let down after all of the planning and anticipation. So my darling dh, said "well, we'll just have to plan another cruise". OMG, I just can't believe he said that. He wants to do an Alaska cruise out of Seattle. So, I just might have to relent and let him plan the next one.
I can't just sit and do nothing. I already went through the gathering phase and now that I've gathered it might as well store it in that empty suit case.

I've only packed things we aren't using right now.
This weekend I am seizing everything and anything I need to get us packed. I get home late and I feel I barely have time to spend time with my kids and eat dinner and get them in the bath in time to do it all over again. So this next weekend we are getting finished with the packing.
I keep having dreams that forget the paperwork and me thinking I lost my license that day didn't help that.
I keep getting flutters in my stomach too.
We also want to do an Alaskan cruise next. I hope when Disney adds the new ships we could cruise Disney again. If not, we will have to go without disney.
Are we exchanging gifts or putting goodies in the fish extenders? No one is answering my post about things that were planned that I might have missed since I came aboard so late. Are we doing anything special or just meeting up and enjoying each others company? Please someone let me know something. I want to be able to participate as much as possible but I don't have much time. Thanks!
Sorry we're not trying to ignore you. We're being self absorbed with the
Disney cruise that's coming up in 10 days!!!!! We're all suffering from Tunnel vision right now. We're almost down to single digits!!!!!
Also pm your info to CruisinEars if you want to be added to the main list not just the fish extender list.
Sure, I weigh the same as ten years ago. A solid 161 lbs, ooops I have been reading the scale upside down, that should be 191 lbs

The excuse I'll be using is that I am really and extrovert trapped in and introverts body
That would explain the difference in the scale. You're more of an extrovert than you used to be. Sorry couldn't resist.
We haven't really planned that much. The only major stuff is what I've already mentioned, the Promenade Lounge meet and wearing the green wrist bands to recognize one another. Only about 9 families decided to participate in the fish extender exchange. We've bought (mostly off of ebay) or made hanging pocket organizers to hang from the fish outside our stateroom doors and will place little goodies in the pockets of the members of the participating families. I think nobody mentioned this because you don't have much time and the majority of folks on the thread declined to participate because they didn't have the time to acquire/make the extenders and get together the gifts. You are certainly welcome to join if you'd like; just let us know the names of the members of your party and your stateroom number by pm-ing them to Leia's Mom who has compiled the list.
If anyone wants to order from the woman on ebay who is also a fellow DISer here's a link and if you don't like that one click see seller's other items. Her ebay name is gradysmommy. Both Bobbi and I got ours within a few days and they were custom made so you still have a little time to order one from her.
