I had a heart attack today. Was shopping at JC Penney for some new black slacks (which they have plenty of for buy one and get one for .88 cents) when I went to check out she asked to see my drivers license. I said sure then I couldn't find it ANYWHERE!!!
She accepts my Sams card as it has my photo on it. She hands me my receipt I move over to an empty register and dig out all my stuff and no license! At first I couldn't remember where I had it last but remembered everything fell out of my wallet last night onto my bedroom floor. Fortunately my husband was at home but I couldn't find my cell phone either! Ran back to work called him and he found it on the floor and my cell phone on the bathroom sink. WHEW! I was picturing myself down at the DMV begging them to get me a new license in two weeks.
Then I get home and what do I find in the mail for me today. A jury summons. Guess when it is? Thursday, May 1. Oh my goodness! Thankfully in my county you can get out of it if you have a kid under 10 who will be unsupervised for a time which he would be I take him to school my husband is already way gone. We live too close for the bus.
