Yeah....like we'll all be checking daily starting at 45 days.
We booked the Caribe Royale for 3 nights after our cruise. Did you like it there. I've heard mixed reviews so any input you have would be appreciated.
Welcome!Here's my other post.
I am OFFICIAL!!! Bingedy Bangedy Boom!
We sail with y'all in a Categ. 5. The Categ. 6's for FL residents were sold out by the time my TA jumped in. FL resident rate was about 50%. That's why we did it. I've never seen rates this cheap!
Can't wait to meet everyone.

Been away for awhile...I saw mention of new menus a few pages earlier. Where did you find that info?
Ok, I tried to get cute & find some answers to our upgrade questions as well as how full the ship is actually getting by calling & asking, but I managed to get "Grumpy" on the line & she wouldn't give a drop of info!!
Oh well, I guess we'll all just have to be surprised!!![]()
Cool! We'll be on the Magic on Saturday, so I'll let you know about menus. I'll also find out who we'll have as our CD and ACD (if I can). Anything else I need to check on?
Welcome!
Did you wait for the FL resident rate because you didn't want a cat 12 at the bargain price? or because you couldn't get one? JUst nosey LOL
glad to have you in our group!![]()
I hope they still have escargot on the menu. It would be just my luck they talked me into eating that last trip and I ended up LOVING it and then take it off the menu before I cruise again LOL and it wasn't like a long time since our last cruise either! just my luck LOL)[/QUOTE said:I hope they do too. I've always wanted to try esgargot. What better time to try it!!!

Oh no- I love long stories- ask anyone! We had no intention of cruising. Thus I didn't know about the great cat 12 rates that most of you seemed to have received! We actually had a 4 day, get 3 free package booked for Wilderness Lodge originally for March which we had to move for early May.
We haven't cruised since August 2005. Over the years, I would get e-mails from the TA we used back in 2005, but we always just thought the prices were rather high, considering the FL resident rates we can always get at the resorts.
So... a week ago, the FL resident rates came out, I got my usual e-mail, and because I was so shocked by the price, I just mentioned it to DH in passing, but not as a request. And he said "Let's do it!" I almost fell off the couch.
The ironic part of the story, is that in 2005, my DH and I had made a promise to ourselves that we would cruise again for our twin boys 5th birthday, and do it on a 7 day cruise. Even though we had a wonderful trip at WL planned, a part of me felt a little bad that we didn't keep that promise to ourselves, and then this cruise and these prices kind-of fell out of the sky for us. My boys turn 5 on May 7th, and we cruise on the 30th.
We feel blessed and so excited. More information than you probably wanted, but that's our story.![]()
girl I hear you! My sister can whip out the most amazing stuff for her scrapbooks and online just to show off her kids pictures like in a post or her sig line for awhile on her board- but I have to do this stuff on my own and I have no clue how to do it! thank goodness for those on disboard that have helped me in the past! LOLI started working on my door magnets tonight. It's pretty bad when I have a sister & a DDIL who have degrees in graphic design & a DBIL who has a masters in art & painting & I have to do this all myself.
Anyway, since I'm not very talented, I'm using graphics that I've downloaded & suffering through this. Won't turn out at good as brucechase's I'm sure!

We liked it very much and were there from March 7-9th. We had a 2 bedroom, it was very clean and incredibly spacious. The 2 bedrooms have a jacuzzi tub that would fit twoThey all also have screened in porches. We were really surprised how nice they were. Nice pool with slide, too.
The ONLY complaint, and it was weird, but the doors make noise. Let me explain. We were on the 1st floor which we liked, but anytime the suite above us opened their front door we could hear it LOUDLY in our suite. It took us awhile to figure out what the noise was, but we eventually did. My DH never heard it in his sleep (heavy sleeper). I am not a heavy sleeper, and thus heard our upstairs neighbor open and close their door repeatedly until 2 am. My little boys in the morning told me they heard alot of "thunder" during the night. There was no rain. That's how they interpreted the sound.
It was weird. My advice to you is get a top floor suite, or one where they can guarantee that no one will be above you. I do not know if this same strange phenomenon goes on with the 1 bedroom suites, as they are in a completely different building. But it is with the 2/bed. buildings.
Other than this weird front door noise, we were stunned by how nice and large the suite was. Bigger than many of the apts. I ever lived in in my younger years.
Make sure you get a Mousesavers discount code, saved us a huge chunk of change. (sorry for the long response)
Welcome to the group!Hey! We just booked a CAT 11 last night. We got a pretty good deal, but not as great as some of you have gotten. Anyway, we are looking forward to it. We have done 2 Disney Eastern cruises and are looking forward to the Western. Any advice as to what to do on the islands?
Wow. That's not nearly as cheap as we got the cat 12's but still it's interesting that they are opening up MORE cat 12's. I wonder if they started figuring out "upgrades" (although ofcourse not telling us yet)- you know like working it out figuring out where they'll put us and then opening up more cat 12's so they can try to sell more rooms on those sailings? VERY interesting... to start thinking about what our uprgrades might be!Welcome here:

I have a list started for all doing the FE and for information in general. If you want to be included, just let me know. You need 10 posts to PM so I will PM you my email if you are interested.
By the way, they have just opened Cat12 for our cruise and all the others in May. 2 Adults and 1 child is around $2500 w/o ins or transfers. I hope we will be seeing more cruiser - and upgrades for EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
