All you May 3rd'rs have a great time, it's almost time now, I remember how I was the Tuesday before my first cruise last March, I'm so excited for all of you.

Long day of shopping, but well worth it!! I can't believe the time is approaching so quickly. We are well on the way to being packed. Just a few more things to check off the list. If I could stop dancing maybe I would get them done!

Rae....and the rest of the 5/3 cruisers...have a fantastic time and keep that ship "ship shape" for us 5/17 cruisers....you guys do the Eastern on the 3rd and then we do the next Eastern!!!

Rae....please, please, please, post from onboard and keep us all up to date. There are too many crew for you to say hello to for me...so I will just do it when I sail!!!

MJ - sorry, I never post from the ship - I need that time to get unaddicted!!!!

SAVS - I am using weather.com for my information. States scattered thunderstorms for Saturday in Orlando and thunderstorms for St. Thomas during the week. Not trying to be a "nay sayer" or "put a damper" on this adventure, but forewarned means having a little wet weather gear to back you up.

I came down with a little cold and am feeling pretty crappy right now. So I'm taking it easy AND doing all the preventative stuff - chicken soup, tea, claritin D, rest....etc. Go figure!

Also, please don't be too disappointed if in person I'm sort of quieter - I have a problem with crowds, even when the crowd is people I "know". Don't take it personal - it's just me!!!


Guess that's all for now. Must get back to bed before DH comes and carries me off - now wait! That sounds like a plan here!!!!!

My ds is 5 (turning 6 on June 8th) if your ds would like someone to see it with he would love to join him.
He keeps asking me if there will be any boys his age there to play with and I keep trying to reassure him that there will be plenty of kids waiting there to play with him.

So anyone else going with young children.......we are very excited to meet all of you

My DS will be 8 on May 26 - he loves the Kids Club and makes friends easily and unlike his mother, he loves crowds!

Hi, Rae. I've been checking accuweather.com for about 5 days now. I like it better than weather.com and it goes out 15 days. The forecast for Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas has been improving every day for the last five days, and right now it's looking pretty good. . . partly sunny and humid almost the entire trip. So I'm continuing to believe the May weather gods will be smiling on us! Now, I''m truly off and away, and the next time you hear from me will be on the ship (or at the pool).

Safe travels one and all -- and Jeanne, make sure that the car you're riding in has good shocks -- I'm picturing a 4-wheeled Mexican jumping bean/dancing bean act all the way to Flordida!

I'll try to have the pins with me both at the Promenade Lounge and during the sail away. And of course, Monday at the party.
No, I haven't gotten them yet, but I have faith in Andy and the USPS.

Hey guy's and gal's, having grown up on a small island in the Key's, I can tell you that being that far south, partly cloudy and humid is the daily forcast for the island's. Rae keep the positive outlook and things will be fine. We hope every one that is traveling by air or land will have a safe and happy trip...

We are still packing and doing laundry. Jess went on shopping spree today and got her wardwrobe for less than 31 bucks at the local Goodwill, just kidding. She spent twice that at a Dollar General.

Back to backing and dancing. Does any one need any yellow Dollar Genral bags for their dirty laundry? We've got a ton of them now.

flsuperhawk - my DH also said he saw where the weather is going to be nice and not rainy. I prefer to go with the fair weather report and look on the bright side. Let's all keep our fingers crossed. Being down here in FL 1/2 the year, I must tell you all up North, our weather almost always reports at least a 20% chance of rain daily. We rarely get it. Only time will tell I guess. We will all have a ball either way for sure.

Andy, thanks so much for the pins. You're a prince and we all appreciate all you've done for us. Wish you a happy week and we'll be thinking of you and toasting in your honor.

DD Emmak and her DH and my two little grandkids, Mak 4 and Emma 2 are on their way from CT to hitch up with Nana and Grampa in Ft. Pierce FL, then off to Port Canaveral. Just spoke with them on the road and they are beside themselves with excitement and can't wait to get here. Haven't seen them since Jan. so yours truly can't wait to give them a great big hug and kiss.

Looking forward to seeing all our DIS'ers onboard. Hoping I will be able to get some sleep in the next 3 nights, but these butterflies in my stomach are dancing all over the place.

I've got Offlee Wild- no reason- I know less about horse racing then I do about ironing (which is STILL NOT DONE by the way) I just picked it cuz I like the name!
Not that I'm wild . Anymore. Well maybe a little, but in a clean and wholesome sort of way. Really. Ask my kids. Don't ask Auntie Bon- she doesn't even have one tattoo. That I know of.....

Hi fellow DIS'ers. We need a big favor. For all of you who believe there is power in prayer, we need some bigtime power right now. Emmak and family are on the road towards FL but Mak (4 yr.old) has been vomiting all night long and has a fever. He has a condition where he does this when excited, believe it or not. It's called Cyclic Disease, kind of migraines of the stomach we are told, and when he gets too excited i.e. trips, parties, company coming over, etc. he gets upset stomach and even fever. He is taking meds and hopefully this is what it is and not something more severe. I've been talking with Dr. over the phone and she's doing what she can.

Please, please say a prayer for them and hope poor little Mak gets better for our cruise, otherwise we'll be holding down the fort with Verandah Man on the homefront. I've been praying for Mak since before he left CT that this wouldn't happen, but perhaps we need a little more power. Thanks a bunch. Hope we see you on Sat. Barb and Ray, Emmak and family
