May 27th 2007 Wonder Cruise. Anyone else on it?

Well, it looks like it won't just be hubby and I after all. I think that our boys will be joining us. Stephen is 14 and Jeff 17. We don't really think that the grandparents want to keep them for us while we are gone, so rather than worry about if they are having fun there, we are going to bring them with us where we know they will have fun. :thumbsup2

Shannon thanks for adding me to the list!

Thanks to everyone else for all the welcomes. Yes it does look like there will be many a tiny princess on this cruise!

Welcome Aboard Nursetink :boat:

Im very excited, got the documents for our Sept cruise today

OT-Shannon it looks like we may overlap at the World in October. We will be POR 10/13-14 and BCV 10/15/-20, with MNSSHP 10/19. Will you guys be there then also?

Welcome nursetink. We took our 1st cruise in 2005 and were hooked. 2007 will be our 3rd.
Blythep, I bet you'll have a great time with your kids along. They're old enough to hang out in the Stack. They'll be so busy you won't even know they're there.
Tiggery, have a great time on your cruise. You'll have to fill us all in when you get back.

Yep, DH and I will be at BWV the 15th thru the 18th for a quick getaway. Our girls are staying home with the grandparents. We are going to MNSSHP, but on the 16th.

That is great! We will be there with MIL, SIL, BIL, and neice. BIL, SIL, and neice 1st trip. MIL went with us last October.

Well, I have some bad news, we have changed our cruise dates. We won't be on the 27th cruise after all. We are now on the June 3-7 Wonder instead. It seems that the annual GayDays is going on at WDW from June 2-5, the days that we were originally scheduled to be there and my hubby (don't thank bad about him, please we had just prefer not to be there then) decided that we would rearrange our trip. So we are not going to be at the Radisson, or on the Wonder during this time.

I'm sorry to hear that, Blythep. Have you thought about just avoiding the parks they will be at? They have a schedule. They'll be at AK on 5/31, MK on 6/2 and Epcot on 6/3. It's my understanding that the only park that draws a large crowd is MK.

Oh my. I am so glad this little bit of info came out. We are no way prejudice against anyone. I would never treat anyone any differnet because of thier lifestyle.

BUT, we are Christians and the whole gay thing goes against what we believe. I would rather not be one of the "numbers" that the parks will calculate on these days. We were expecting to be at MK on June 1 and 2nd. The kids really love MK. Like I had mentioned in earlier post, they picked MK for both days cause they love it so much!

I am sorry you had to change your vacation plans. But, we do understand.

Well, that is a shame Blythep. We have been during Gay Days cause it hits during my DH's birthday and Star Wars Weekends. I can honestly tell you that as long as you go to their website to check the schedule and plan accordingly Gay Days will not affect you in the least. The biggest concern would be their MK day simply because it draws such large crowds.

Otherwise, I should probably keep my mouth shut on this topic. :rolleyes1

Changing the subject, for those of us with little girls - Cheetah Girls 2 premiers tonight on The Disney Channel. Just a heads up! :)

Ok, I am not going to get a discussion started about this. And I promise this will be the last thing I post in this reference. PROMISE

But, when searching today, I came across this article. It is written by a 40 yr old gay man who is also the FOUNDER AND WEDMASTER on this site. Please go read what he had to say about "gay days". You will be suprised and glad you read this. Especially if you plan to go to DW after the cruise.

On the lighter note, YES THE DAY HAS COME! CHEETA GIRLS TONIGHT....We have the DVD recorder ready! DD has waited so long for this! :cheer2:

I've read that article, but it doesn't change our plans. We will go to WDW following the cruise. The only Gay Day park we will avoid is MK due to the large crowd that is expected.
The Gay Day thing doesn't bother us, other than the large crowds it may draw.

I read that article awhile back. I guess everyone needs to make their own decisions. We usually go to WDW before our cruise so that we're relaxed when we get home. We'll be going from the 22nd to the 26th.
My spa day was so much fun. Fifteen of us met and had wonderful treatments and a very nice lunch. I had a massage and mini-facial.
This week was so crazy. Hopefully next week will settle down a bit. The first week back always seems so busy. My DS6, who just started full-day first-grade, is so exhausted. I hope he adjusts quickly.

I love the spa idea! Speaking of spa, have you ladies done any of the spa treatments on the ship? Please tell me about them. I was looking at the list. I would like to get my Mom something special. But, have no idea which one.

This year on the Magic I did the hot stones massage. It was wonderful. I did some research about whether to have one on the ship or at CC. Most people thought the ship's spa was much nicer than the open-air cabanas at CC.

Wow, that article was interesting...

Like I said we've been during Gay Days and planned our park days around their schedule and never saw anything indecent. So I'm basing my opinion on my own personal experiences.

I admit I'm liberal in my ways of thinking and I could care less who is holding hands, but I would not want to see anyone - gay OR straight making out like described in that article in front of my beloved castle! YIKES!

I'm waiting for 10:00 to order Cheetah Girls / Hannah Montana concert tickets! The girls don't know they are coming! Wish me luck! :cheer2:

jjatwdw, sounds like your spa day was awesome!

My youngest is still not into the early schedule. She wakes up with her head spinning each morning. Wow, I've never seen her such a grouch! :lmao:

Oh I am so jealous! I had looked at cheeta tickets and they are nowhere near us. :guilty: Destiny loved the movie last night and we did get it DVD recorded so I am sure I will hear it all all the way on our 6 1/2 hr trip on FRiday! LOL As she was wacthing the movie we told her she has been to barcalona (she was 2 - now 5) she says "well, come on lets go back" :rotfl: Its so cute to me how they dont realize why we cant just get up and go back to Spain.... The Cheeta girls did :rotfl2: maybe we should get a :moped: Then we could go anywhere (through a child's eyes). It makes you realize enjoy it while you have it - my oldest will be 14 in Dec. :smooth:

Thanks! My eyes kept going back to the stones mass. Not sure if it was for me or my Mom I had in mind for that one :p Maybe both? Thanks for the info on CC or the ship also, that was another thing I was WONDERing about.
