May 27th 2007 Wonder Cruise. Anyone else on it?

Wow, that article was interesting...

Like I said we've been during Gay Days and planned our park days around their schedule and never saw anything indecent. So I'm basing my opinion on my own personal experiences.

I admit I'm liberal in my ways of thinking and I could care less who is holding hands, but I would not want to see anyone - gay OR straight making out like described in that article in front of my beloved castle! YIKES!

I'm totally with you here. Hand holding, or typical forms of affection wouldn't bother me. But if it's inappropriate (french kissing, etc) then it's wrong whether you are straight or gay. We'll stick with our plans and go to WDW after the cruise, but avoid MK on the Gay Day.
But I also understand that some may not want to be around that environment. That's o.k. too. That's what makes our Country so great. Freedom of choice. :thumbsup2

I didn't get the Cheetah Girls tickets.
Thank goodness I didn't tell my girls!
I started hitting refresh on my computer about five minutes before they went on sale and I still somehow missed it! How can something sell out immediately?!? :furious:

Oh sorry! Kinda reminded me of last night. My son (almost 9) was watching Cheeta girls just to get those codes so he could win a prize. So, after the show we kept trying - doing the refresh thing - and could never get to enter....Boy was he kinda sad. He had watched all of that girlie show just to get those codes.

You might can try another ticket place that is selling the tickets, you know they are all supposed to only have so many tickets for that certian site to sell.

My youngest is still not into the early schedule. She wakes up with her head spinning each morning. Wow, I've never seen her such a grouch! :lmao:

Kyle's okay in the morning. It's the evenings that are killing me. One night after soccer he had the biggest meltdown of his life. It all happened because I would not turn around and go back for his forgotten water bottle. It was a disposable Ice Mountain with about one inch of water left in it and we were already part-way home! Needless to say, that was a very early bed night. He does seem fine this weekend though. Hopefully next week will be better.

We did - my Mom found tickets for around $100 a person and DH found some tonight for $160 a person. No way!!! The most expensive tickets were $45 - talk about a mark up! :sad2:

I still don't get how it sold out so fast. We're talking within less than a minute?!? :confused3

Wow! What the heck are Cheetah Girls and why is it so expensive. That's like Rolling Stones tickets!

They're a band group of four girls, including Raven, that have two movies on the Disney Channel. They are now doing a concert tour. However, Raven doesn't tour with them. Luckily, my DD15 is too old for them. She was never really into the little kids pop groups anyway. She's really into competition dance teams, show choir and concert choir, so she listens to a lot of broadway and theater type music.

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been on in a few days! We spent the weekend at Myrtle Beach. :) We had to watch the Cheetah Girls also Friday and we recorded it at home too. I got tickets for the concert through the Target presale on Ticketmaster.com. We are going to see them in Charlotte, NC, the price was $38.00 per ticket total with taxes and fees. I gave Ashlyn a choice to see the Cheetah girls and Hanna Montana or Raven. Raven is coming to the Columbia State Fair the weekend after the concert. Her dad may give in and let her see both, we'll see.

Shan, I can't believe the tickets in your area are so expensive. I would keep checking and see if maybe they haven't released all the seats.

Randi, It looks like you picked a great weakend to go to Myrtle Beach. They're saying it might get hit by Ernesto next weekend. Judy

Randi, I'm so jealous you got tickets! I really wanted to surprise my girls. They would have been so excited. Oh, well... I'll keep checking. I'm in the Atlanta area so maybe that is why. I guess they figure we're suckers. :furious:

I'm having bad Disney karma. A couple hours ago Raglan Road called and they canceled our ressies for our October trip. I had made those ressies FOREVER ago. They got bought out for the night. DH and I are only gonna be there for three night so I guess we'll miss it. I wanted to go so badly since this trip we'd be without our girls. We're on the DDP so now I gotta find another ressie and soon.

That's horrible that they just canceled a long standing reservation. I'm sure you'll find something else, but if you have any trouble you should call RR back and demand that they get you in somewhere.

DH wanted me to try for Le Cellier, but it is booked. I called and made a ressie for Wolfgang Puck. I had wanted to go shopping that night.

Hi all! Just had to come here and remember that I do have a great upcoming cruise...just gota make it through this school year! And, its just begun. I have a such a bad day. Teacher calls my hubbies cell to tell him that my son (8yr old) is mad at her cause she cut the shoestrings of his prized shoes (heelys). LOL Wish I could have heard that call. Then, MP tires to give me $75 ticket for being in line to pick up my DD because he didnt know ANYTHING about the pick up policy....WHAT A DAY....OK VENTING is over. I have offically lost it  Sorry all.

Hope things are going well with you all.

Shan Glad you did get a ressie after all. Maybe you can still shop (a little) :bitelip:

Since I posted the "sad sob story". I will post the one that will make everybody's day. Guess who came to school Friday!

After posting I kept tyring to resize this photo. As u see it didnt work! I lost the quality along the way. Anyway, the REAL photo looks very nice. This one just looks plain freaky. But hey, its still MICKEY and MINNIE! Gota  'em!

Cool! Mickey and Minnie came to school?!?

Don't worry, we aren't at three full weeks yet and my youngest DD got a note sent home cause she was "having trouble listening." Kindergarten is gonna be a huge wake up call to her! :teeth:

She is my little hyper one to begin with so it didn't surprise me (Kinda made me feel a tad sad, though...), but oddly enough I had sent them a letter that same morning that I had to give her albuterol cause she has been wheezing and I was concerned she might be a tad more wound up than usual... Oh, well. I gave her a stern talking to before I dropped her off.

Hope everyone had a nice three-day weekend. The weather is really cooling down here in the midwest, especially at night. You can really tell that fall is coming. I've kind of gotten into the vacation-planning mode the last day or two. I starting to think about where to make adrs for WDW, and searching for airfare. It seems like I spend three-quarters of the year planning and the other one-quarter recouperating.

We had a nice weekend. The kids went back to school today, so I took the day off from work to make sure the kick off the year on a good note. I'll be watching AKL on Travel channel in another hour to get me in a disney mood.

We booked our airfare already, since we used some frequent flyer miles. Boy, airfare is so high!

Just finishing off the packing. Leaving tomorrow for Manchester to stay the night at the airport before flying out to Florida for our stay on the Magic. :cool1: Cya in 2 weeks.
