Hi, we're currently booked for xmas week on the Magic, DW, DS (11 next year) and myself, for our 5th DCL cruise, but to better coordinate w/ my mother and make it a 3 generation cruise we're looking into swapping to this Wonder sailing on 5/27, the sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
Lacking at the moment time to scroll through 13 pages of entries, are there many children on this cruise, by DCL standards, that is? DS will have graduated from elementary school the week before so this will be the start of his summer vacation, though we have pulled him out of school for 3 of the previous 4 DCL cruises.
Sherri, I did see that about the tax increases. I guess our travel agents will be contacting us about the difference?
logan1_2000, hi! Let us know if you switch to this cruise and I'll add you to our list. Page 6 has a list of this thread and all our kids' ages. We have alot of kids going!
the "zoo" I was talking about on the other thread is called the Ardastra Zoo and Conservation Center. It is small, but a good experience! They have some animals that we will not see here in the US zoos. They have a HUGE pot bellied pig that just walks around like he owns the place. My kids loved it cause they even petted him They have flamingos that you can just walk up to also. And, they have a bird feeding where the birds land on you and you feed them apples (my DD really loved this). I am not sure if DCL offers this as a excursion but the other cruise lines did. We just went on our own - much cheaper!
OK guys I guess this is good-bye for me. My DH got "info" that he will be deploying April 07 or sometime there after for "somewhere". So, we are switching our cruise to Feb 07. I hated taking the kids out of school for a week but on the other hand, my princess will turn 6 during the cruise. When we told her she said, "oh, I always dreamed of having my party on a cruise!" So, she doesnt just get a cruise ..she gets a DISNEY CRUISE! So, good luck in May and have fun!
What day are you gonna hit it? I had to do some rearranging with our plans. We arrive on the 15th so we'll have to go straight over to Epcot after we check in.
DW and I, early 40's (maybe mid-40's by then ?), and DS (11 at time of cruise), 5th DCL cruise, 3rd 4 nighter on Wonder. Possibly my DM, a frequent HAL and occasional Celebrity cruiser, if schedule works out, to join us and make it a 3 generation trip. And working on some former neighbors to join in as well...
We had been booked on Magic, Xmas week 2007, decided we couldn't wait that long...
I think we may go the 15th also. We arrive the 13th POR and then on to BCV 15th-20th. I think we may head straight over there on the 15th after BCV check-in. This is the day we are planning on MGM, but a little side trip for Nemo should be worth it!
Updated our group list on page 6. (Gotcha added logan!)
Shana, say hello if you spot us! It will be just DH and I. I'll have my new lime green Baggallini messenger bag on. I shouldn't be hard to spot, it is rather BRIGHT.
I certainly will. I think I can recognize you from previous picture posts. We will be a group of 8 Myself, DH, DD 4, DD 6, MIL, DN 5, SIL, and BIL. My backpack has the Home Depot Mickey with Nursetink on it.
I am trying to fight off a cold this weekend. I can't believe it is the last week of September. It won't be long until our Thanksgiving trip to US and IOA and then not long until the cruise.
