May 26,2011 3night cruise..join in!!

Hi - I would like to join my two boys up for the FE on our cruise. We have never done this before and I want to surpise them with it. It is too late to join? And do we give out something everyday or just at the end of the cruise? THANKS for any advice!!

Welcome:banana:

It is not too late to sign up for the FE. I am going to set a deadline for the FE list. and once that is done I will compile a spreadsheet with each cabin having a day. You will deliver your FE's on that day. This is to ensure that we don't get everything in the first day. So you will be responsible for 1 FE gift.

Could you give me the names of the boys, ages and if they have a favorite character. We would love to have you as well....It's fun!!!

mickeysgirl77,
Are we setting a deadline date for our FE list? I want to make sure we have the correct number of handmade items for the exchange.

I do think that we need to set a deadline. On the last cruise the month before sailing was the hot month. Would 2 weeks out be okay for you and other disser's making homemade or would 3 weeks out be better.

I am open to all suggestions on this subject..

FE list is updated. I think I have gotten everyone. If I missed anything let me know.

Also, I have added the B2B's that I know of the the FE. If you notice that you should be included but are not please let me know...

Thanks so much! This is really great of you to put this together, I just can't wait to go! My boys are Dominic 14, Donovin 12, my husband Bert 44 and myself Amy 42. Thanks again! And our cabin number is 9050!

Just booked Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim for my sister's 5 granddaughters. :yay:

Looking forward to watching them.

Thank you for organizing the Fish Extender list! I agree with you that a deadline date should be set (For shopping and packing purposes!)

Here is the information for my kids:

Andrew, 10, Goofy

As soon as I know our room number I will post that as well. Looking forward to our cruise!

Tricia

BELLA-NOEL - You will LOVE your cruise! This will be our third cruise and the first doing the FE Exchange! Enjoy!!

My dw, ds-7, and I are first timers. We are very excited. We have been reading other posts in the forum about horror stories during embarkation. So someone put us at ease please. We finished booking today. Not really sure what to do next except wait. We can't plan any excursions or anything for another week they said. Any tips or hints anyone could give would be great. See you in May!!

Congrats on booking your first Disney cruise!!! :woohoo: Don't worry so much about embarkation. I think they are slowly working out the kinks. I was at the terminal on 2/24 and even with a full ship, the lines weren't as bad as I imagined. Things flowed much better than on the preview cruise. We arrived at 11am, waited approx. 10 minutes at the gate and another 10 at security. The line for check-in was long but moved quickly. The line for kids club registration was also long and moved a bit slower but the key to getting through that quickly is to register your son online. Then all you have to do is get the armband. We had boarding pass #11 and was on the ship within 30 minutes after they started boarding.

:welcome: Glad to have you cruising with us. It will be amazing.. I've read the horror stories as well but do know that all will be wonderful.

We're on this cruise also! Last minute decision to add-on after WDW trip. We were planning to spend Memorial weekend with Grandma but she ditched us so what shall we do...experience the Dream! We are SO excited they dropped the height limit on the Aqua Duck as we didn't know how to tell DD she couldn't ride when she does all the WDW resort water slides.

The bonus prize for us is that this will be our 5th DCL so we will be Gold Castaway Members just in time to book our Alaskan shore excursions. :cool1:

Wow...Nice to be here! Yes, we are getting excited! Me, (38) DH(46 or is he?) lol, DS (16), DD (13), and DD/tomboy(9)! Don't ask her to play princess dress up...but she is pretty good at being a pretend tiger or video games! ;) Well, w/all the snow the kids will miss a few days of school for the cruise then they get to come back and brag about it just before school lets out!!!!

CAn't wait till May 26!!!! 77 days and counting!!!!
