BTW, my name is princesslisa 71 and I am an Obsessive Complusive Planner, fortunately I just got a new job that pays me to plan events.

Tiara is polished and I am ready for Princess night.

And I leave for Paris in three days, not a thing in my suitcase. Take a guess at what I am doing all day Saturday - !!!!

Thanks for the Airborne reminder, I will add that to my Target list. BOO TO . I wish all the health and pixie dust to everyone.

Just a reminder/suggestion to al those packing -be sure and split your stuff up between two or more suitcases in case one does not make it with you. It will be so much nicer if everyone has a change of clothes in every suitcase rather than exclusively in one.

And that includes underwear!

Passport update:

I think I'll have them tomorrow. I called good old Senator Hatch's office yesterday, and they got right to it. They made an immediate call yesterday, and today at noon they told me that they will be overnighted today. I hope the passport agents were more honest with the Senator's office than they were with me. (Since I had been told that 3x previous.)

So, thanks for the pixie dust, just give me one more dusting for good luck that they'll arrive tomorrow.

Now, is another story. I keep washing, my teenage boys keep wearing, and despite my threats, nothing is staying in the suitcase. They're up for sale....on second thought, I'll pay you to take them!

FYI....I'm taking more than one pair of underwear, so ya'll can stand to be around me.... JK....we're still laughing here about turning them inside out.

I know exactley how you feel i have been going through a period of picking up little things like t - shirts and tops etc for my DS and DD over the last couple of weeks and putting them in a bag ready to go straight into the suitcase. well low and behold they have found them and i came home yesterday to find them both kitted out in new outfits playign in the back garden - now i have to wash and ready them again for packing.

Also DH ( who is obsessive about clothes ) has now bought 4 new shirts for this cruise and 3 new pairs of shorts when he already has enough for a different one every day for the next month. We are going to have way too much luggage, i will just have to unpack some without them knowing.

woooo hooo yeah for you - you can now relax and enjoy looking forward to the trip.

OCPD - yep thats me holiday version of Monica from friends and OPA also me - i usually take a small bag just for shoes, makeup tolietries etc and hair stuff as well as my normal luggage Think that may have to be reduced this time. Plus we are a family of OPA as my DH and DD are worse than me.

May God bless Orin Hatch- I have met him a few times, he knew my grandparents in SLC. He's a nice man, I don't know about his politics anymore as I don't live in Utah- but he was very, very nice and personable.






Foot update-
Torn ligament and Bruised ankle bone-oozing marrow- I have to meet with an Orth-surg doc on Monday to see if I need surgery or not. BOOO HISSS
I have told my GP that I WILL be on the trip and that I WILL be scuba diving- he has no issues with that as long as my divemate will pull my sorry but out of the water because I won't be able to put my full weight on my right foot.

Congrats on the passports...nothing says vacation stress like missing documents!

Glad to hear everyone is on the mend.

Our son goes into "germ-lockdown" Friday at bedtime. No grocery store carts, no play dates with friends, no Gymboree, no public swimming pool, just the backyard and house for him until we go.

We all started a boost of vit c... DH will take Airborne... I haven't been approved for it by my doctor.

I have a feeling the morning sickness is going to get worse in the next few weeks... do you think DCL with slap me into quarantine??? hehe

Told my DH if i get sick i HAVE to do it in the stateroom.

Does anyone have experience with DCL and mommy-sickness?? Should I just go tell them right away or wait it out. I don't want to get locked up in the BRIG! HEHE

to Airborne. I really like the nighttime one -- Apple Cider flavor!!

In the spirit of making recommendations....For anyone who has ear pain due to changes in pressure when flying (like me) I would suggest "earplanes". They are available for adults and children. It has made air travel a much more pleasant experience for me. If you have a child in the family who has never flown before, you might want to have them use them just in case. I don't know how they work but I know that I won't travel without them. I take them out when we reach cruising altitude and put them back in for descent.
